SJ - my perineum didn't tear at all, but I had a few 'grazes' in other places. I did get stitches, but apparently only because the grazes were directly opposite one another and if you leave they can possibly heal fused together?? (ugh!!) Also, I got the head out in one big push as the baby's HB had dropped really low, so wasn't able to do the whole pause and get it out gently that they usually do, I think. HTH!

Ooo, saw the news on JHA, good luck hon!!!! Speedy labour vibes for you!

Well my pains have subsided and nowhere near as strong or painful as they have been over last few days and im glad i have gone with out pain killers so i can feel the true intensity and know the difference between pains i have had. I rang Drs surgery as MW wanted a water sample from me today as i could not do one at booking in app last tues, she is not in till this afternoon so have to wait to get a call back. Will explain to her what has been going on and see which way she wants me to go - either in with dr asap or wait for epu scan thurs.

Hi all, Good luck steff hope you can get in for a scan a bit earlier today.

vibes to all the ladies at the top of the list, hope yous all have fast painless and non tearing births,

Right i need to get my butt in gear today and get the kids shoes and sort out a cot or something, can't wait till we have the money as i think that may be too late. We don't get it till the first week in feb and everyone thinks i'm going to be early, so unless i want bubs to spend his first days in his pram sleeping i need to do some money juggling and get something.

AND after yesterdays talk of newborn clothing i decided to have a sort threw of my clothing stash and Ooops i only have 4 newborn sleep suits and no vests i could have sworn that i had a load, glad i checked now. :rotfl:

I finally get to have my MRI scan re my dermoid cyst on Friday morning. Apparently theyre not giving me the full scan or the dye injection Ill just be having a scan of some sort.

Cant believe Im nearly half way through already!!! Im 19+1 today :eek: Ive noticed my belly is quite hard up the top but fairly squishy below belly button, and Ive also noticed that Ive become more mucusy (down there) over the past couple of weeks??? Not felt any movements yet but thats probably down to the pre pregnancy 'fat'

Oh my god, so many pages to read and its only been about a week I have missed. I have just read back a couple of pages and noticed some posts about keeping clothes for the next baby. Well we have kept all the clothes from DD1. They were then used for DD2, not for DS as most were pink, but now will be used again for DD3 due May!!

For DS1, my husband bought about 5 bags full of boys clothes from someone he works with for £50 in age 2 -6 years and as DD2 is just 4, she will be wearing some of the clothes, especially jeans, before DS gets to wear them. All were labelled clothes and the bags had about 6 coats in! Am hoping to not have to buy many clothes now for DS and definitely will not buy any for baby. Added to that, one of my friends has a little girl who is 17th months old and she is going to give me all her clothes that she has grown out of as well. I am going to have little girls clothes coming out of all my cupboards soon. I already have bags of clothes in the loft that DD1 has grown out of but DD2 doesn't fit into yet. And then bags of clothes that DD2 has grown out of but are pink so DS won't wear them. Will have to havea big sort out again soon to move clothes around and see if any will fit DD2 or DS.

Labour vibes to everyone who needs them and stay put vibes to people who need them!

Will try and pop in more regularly so I don't miss anything!

Just to let you know i have wrangled a scan at 2.30pm today. Have just passed quite a large thick clot so they want me in.

Would just like to say thanks to everyone foro all the continued support it means a great deal especially at this time.
