  • This sounds gross but I thought mine smelt sterile when it happened to me, like some kind of cleaning stuff ( weird I know ) If your getting pains I would say it is your waters, if you phone the midwife she'll be able to guide you better as there is a risk of infection if your waters have went and labour is not immenant ( sp )

Well im back from the hospital and i am going on a huge rant here -

Got there slightly early due to icy roads - only 20 mins.
Sat in waiting room till 4.55pm aparently they had had emergencies go in -erm hello i am an emergency so you say.
Consultant (not mine) did scan told me my dates were wrong etc, doubted the validaty of preg as couldnt see anything in womb and checked tubes etc, had a nice conversatoin with the nurse as tho i werent present about the irregularities in my wob and ooh look here you can see the c section entry point and mrs robinson if youd like to get yourself dressed and sorted out ill get a sister to take your bloods come back weds for more.

So as you can see no one mentioned the 'MC' word (so taboo in this day in age) and if it was not for me having a go at the junior dr after the nurse used and abused me as a pin cushion i would be none the wiser except for the 'after a miscarriage' after care leaflet given to me on the way out with my next app for bloods. Im not exaggerating about the stabbing with the needle for blood, both creases in my arms are black now with bruising. Consultant really got me when he said why have you not got a full bladder - erm i have been in your sodding waiting room nearly 3 hours try that oh and i had to go as i could feel a huge clot between my legs which you dont believe existed in first place.

After this episode i will be changing to a diff hospital cos the care is dire to say the least.

Apologies to anyone eating their tea and having read this.

finally managed to get my scan photos scanned on and emailed to laptop (god what drama!)...

Didnt want to post them till had heard news about stef....
but they are also on a thread called 15k paper hat - it could be you if anyone wanted to see

You dafty dont worry about showing your pics off cos of me - i had a very good idea of what was happening from thurs and the clotting today confirmed it more as it was not anywhere similar to ones you get in a heavy period.

Get em on and let us all av a nosey.

Just told DH that this one was not meant to be as the forces that be thought having the gob of dd1, attitude of ds1 and appetite of ds2 was just waaaaay too much for anyone to handle in one tiny package so will try again when safe to do that, failing that will go to zoo and pinch a new born chimp as it cant possibly mault in the bath more than DH. xx:rotfl::rotfl:

EA - have a strange mole thing on my neck thats gotten redder and bigger since becoming PG, have a follow up 31st Jan, but doc reckons it'll go once baby arrives.

Dont think it is so much as putting a brave face on it, as us women have an intuition that the male species doesnt comprehend i knew very early on things were wrong. I also am aware that each pregnancy is different but i started with nose bleeds which has continued despite being told bp ok, from tues to thurs my belly had a horrible bloating sensation that i have not ever had before (not even when we went for a three course two bottle of wine meal at a very expensive resturant momentarily shown on f word!) to where i started spotting thurs and full on heavy bleed last night. As soon as clots appeared today for me it was peace of mind as i knew in myself what was happening it is just convincing the 'system' what i knew.
