Congrats to the new mummies and new bumps!!!

Hope everyone who was feeling ill is feeling a bit better today.

I have 80 cupcakes and a cake to ice for tomorrow but I can't be bothered just now, I'd rather have a nap!

Just had a nice pizza from asda and a slice of christmas cake with cheese! I made the cake back in September and it was very nice (even if I do say so myself!)

Beenie Amber is gorgeous!!! Glad you finally managed to get pics on!! Aless Finn is beautiful too, and you look so happy in your pics

Well what a carry on i've had trying to get pics from phone to computer. I had no adaptor for the memory card to make it fit in the lappy's slot. Then the USB cable went awol. Then my bluetooth dongle malfunctioned. Then my mobile with its brokenness wouldn't let me log in to upload them to facebook.

Soooooooo finally managed to upload them from phone to flickr, and now facebook keeps crashing my firefox when i try to upload them Frustrated.com

In the meantime, here's a pic of baby Amber (taken at 3 days old) (and yes she did scratch her face :rolleyes: hasn't done it since though, good job as i don't like the mitts!)

afternoon all, i'm dipping a tentative toe into this thread. Am 6 weeks according to lmp and 5 weeks from when iknow i ovulated (cbfm). have been pg twice this year but sadly lost both by 7 weeks, however, am trying to be positive and first step for me is posting here!!!

Can I join this thread please? I'm 33 weeks pg just now with my second - DS is 17 months at the moment. Due on 14 Feb (OH wants to call him/her valentino/a - not happening!)
Getting pretty big now and totally lacking in any energy (esp with DS getting up at 430 daily just now, running through to our room and climbing on me!)
I had a csection with my first and am hoping for a vbac this time so fingers crossed for not too many stitches!!

Pokey I'm 33 weeks on Tuesday (due 16th Feb) and know how you feel!! I am tired too. I'm starting to get up 2 or 3 times in the night to pee and that broken slep is I think starting to take its toll. God knows how I'll cope when I have my baby waking me up in the night!

I'm actually considering a nap now as I feel wiped out. Need to take a cake out of the oven first though so just waiting for that.

thanks twinklies for the thoughts, just not feeling myself, am all over the place and emotional...

went into town for a walk, and managed to get DH to buy me a top with some sleeves from primark LOL I was not designed for the northern cold snap.

I saw a job that I might apply for as well but im a bit nervous about the whol being pregnant situation, should I tell them at interview, or just wait to be offered a job etc. I dont want anyone to think im being deceitful but at the same time i dont want to scupper my chances of getting a job...

CAFC, I'd be honest. Legally, you can't be discriminated against for being pregnant (I've worked places where a person has been employed, only to not start until a year later after ML!) and your future employer is probably likely to be more willing to be flexible for you. Obviously though, you couldn't easily prove that pregnancy was the reason for you not being employed by someone.

That said, depends what sort of job you're after I guess. Is it something that if you can't get permanent employment that temping until May would be an option? Temp positions can sometimes be pretty good pay too - only issue is the time off as you don't usually get paid for time off as a temp.
