thing is since its only part time, it'd be something that would be fine to continue after maternity leave, and i wouldnt exactly take a full year off of a part time weekend job, probably look to return to it after about 8 weeks....
i wouldnt be looking to go down discrimination routes, i just mean should i tell them at interview or after being offered a job. I know legally its not till after a certain number of weeks but i dont want people to think i was dishonest....
Its only a retail job so not rocket science and ive actually worked for the company before, but in a different area so im hoping that stands me in good stead.

I am also looking at temp roles as well but my experience is limited.
thanks for your help though hun, much appreciated xx

Beenie - Amber is so lovely, makes me want March to come around faster hehe.

Meltdown - Why do men over react so much! So sorry to hear whats going on, I hope you get it sorted soon.

PP - Hope you find a cheap DS for DD so you can have some hush hehe. Oh and eek at your tears, will send you non tearing vibes for this time and am gonna say your LO will arrive 2009 hehe.

CAFCgirl - as the others have said your not obliged to tell them your pregnant and they aren't allowed to ask those kind of questions, so either way your not being dishonest. I think if you really want/need the job then keeping quiet is best and tell them once you have the job.

Welcome to the newbies and sticky vibes for becky xx

Well shopping trip was a bad idea, Kingston was heaving and spent most of the time making sure I/bump didnt get barged! Then OH was in a rush to get home for 4pm to watch the footie so only got a few bits. Did pick up a 1/2 price pink spotty change mat from John Lewis and a pj top in primark that has poppers down the front so should be easy to BF in tho.

Right cup of tea me thinks and time to make a start on the chocolate hoard hehe.

Well I dragged myself off the sofa today and did a bit of shopping, we went to Next to see if they had anymore baby things in the sales left, we got loads of lush things for elliot, we got 6-9 months, got £125 worth of stuff for £40 which I thought was good, got him a lush coat, and some lovely mole skin boots, and a suit set kinda, its a striped shirt, and a waistcoat and a tie which we are hoping he can wear on christmas day :)

Then I bought myself Super Mario Bros for Wii and Mario Kart with my christmas money

    I am wrecked now!

    thanks for all the hi's!
Peeing in the night is a total nightmare isn't it! Our only bathroom is right next to DS's room and I'm always petrified I will wake him when I go (which is about 3 times a night). If I'm woken needing to go after about 3.30 i lie there for ages hoping to fall back asleep so I don't have to get out of bed and risk an even earlier start! Annoying thing is though I then normally can't get back to sleep cause I need to pee!!

Anyone started doing the perenium (sp!) stretching exercises yet? I didn't with DS and had an ECS because he was so big (10lb 2!) if bump is going to be anywhere near that and I'm going to do it "normally" then I want things to be as stretched as poss!!!
    Any hints gratefully received!!
    xx
  • Som there is actually a group on fb now where my mates are all putting in there guesses for dates and weights :rotfl: i think i sent you an invite to join :)

Kindof can you not get an emergency appointment with the out of hours doc thats what i had to do with DD2 the other day, good thing that Elliot is moving about well though at least its something to put your mind at ease!
I actually did pay for the DS on my debit card i think! Though i brought it from a place like cash convertors and i know it was back in november so i dont know if its been too long

I rang my mate earlier and he said it sounded like it needed recalibrating  anyway he talked me through doing it and it was ok for a bit and it has gone back to doing it again  apparently it is a faulty screen and you can get replacements for about £12 on ebay but then its a case of finding someone to fit it, however he did say if i wait til i go up there (not til feb though) that his mate will do it for me for nothing. He also has a ds which he has said i can buy off him for DD2 but he has told her himself that she has to be good and prove that she can take care of DD1's ds or she wont be getting it we shall see :rotfl:

Just done a small top up shop online with tesco (not using asda again ) however that small top up shop just cost me £65  it did include 2 packs of nappies for DD2 though! Its being delivered tomorrow so just hoping they are not going to be as incompetent as asda were :rotfl: there is no way i am even considering going food shopping with both the girls in the sales in the school holidays with this bump  :rotfl:
  • Could I join please?

Husband and I are expecting our first on June 13th.
I'm going to try and keep up with this thread if I can :)

Yeah I've been taking arnica tablets so hopefully those are doing something! Actually right now I'm worried about leaving the house - my feet are the size of one and I doubt any of my shoes would go on right now! :rotfl:

Welcome to all the newbies! Seriously it's so weird to think I'm not pregnant anymore :p

    Beenie, yay for photos!!!
