awwww can i get a little blue arrow by my name please.....???
i have great faith in my sonographer..... she wouldnt have told me otherwise..Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Congratulations to Albionsarah and baby Megan (lovely name). x x x x x
Bless her ginger hair - my brother is ginger and he loves it, lol! And his 6 month old half English half Chinese son is really ginger when in the sun (brown with a nice red hint indoors) and gorgeous - everyone comments on how handsome he is! So can't wait for some pics AlbionSarah!!!
Hope you are all as well as can be!
I am 18wks today - YAY - one prob, someone asked me if i am due soon yesterday, yikes lol, i must look about 6-7 months pregnant and i am having a tough time walking or standing for long. Real serious back pain, and if i stand too long i get a stitch
Bought my buggy yesterday - second hand but that doesn't phase me in the slightest. Bought a Quinny Buzz 3 in Capri blue - it's gorgeous!!!! And a dream to push (i had to pile the chair on top of the pram bit and push it to the station while OH carried DD coz i can't lift her anymore).
Just a word of warning - no matter how lovely it looks i advice against anyone buying a Silver Cross 3D (sorry if anyones bought it - funny thing is the woman we got the Quinny from said the 3D was also HER first and she sold it after 3 months as hated it too). We bought the Silver Cross just before nephew came to stay as it looks lovely. The reality is after pushing him around in it for a few weeks i hate the thing, so does everyone else - it's a nightmare in shops, doesn't turn well, and blimming heavy - even to push! So now i have to sell it. Shame as it looks beautiful - and is really cosi and comfy for bubs!
I'm actually really chuffed with myself as i have got some great Ebay bargains. Started early to prepare with a few of these bits for nephews visit and keep him comfy while here. But then got carried away and thought why not, lol! Heres my list of stuff so far:
1) Brand new sealed Avent Isis breast pump set: £10 (i bought this last time after staring with the Tommee Tippee one which i didn't like - it's a good one)
2) Graco Travel bouncer -like new: £10
3) Bumbo seat in blue: £10 (DD loved hers - however actually bought this for nephew days before finding out i was preg, lol)
4) Fisher Price Infant to Toddler rocker/bouncer: £8 and the woman dropped it off too :T - DD AND Nephew love it as they can both fit in!!!
5) Fisher Price Rainforest Cot Mobile: £4 delivered with bouncer, even has a remote control, lol!
6) Tommee Tippee Microwave Steriliser set sealed: £10
7) Annabel Karmel recipe book - £3 total. - But i think brother is nicking this for nephew as he thinks it's so fab so i'll prob have to buy a new one.
8) Brand new sealed Smart Nappy set, 2 starter sets with extra liners and pads and stuff - £20 (rrp: just under £100 in MC :T)
9) Quinny Buzz 3 with Carrycot - £110
10) Baby Dan food mill - £3
There is loads more but i can't remember them, lol!
Plus some freebies from sis-in-law
1) HUGE box of breastpads - i went through SOOOOO many with DD.:o
2) Smart Nappy Trial set - Brand new - Lol, she bought this intending to be 'good' and then changed her mind when he did his first poo at hospital :rotfl:I'm ready prepared so reusables are ok for me
3) THE MOST GORGEOUS BABY SLING EVER brand new as she bought 2 - it's one of those that are one long peice of material with a loop. Matches the buggy in Capri (Turquiose) blue.:p
Plus now that i have found out it's deffinately a boy she'll be sending me heaps of baby boy clothes :A. Lol, all that anger about OH's lot getting rid of stuff i wanted back has actually turned out OK!Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -

If you don't want to put your surnames on then don't EA. It's your wedding and it's up to you to have it as formal or informal as you want it. I wouldn't think anything of it if I received an invite without surnames, aslong as I knew who they were lolMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0

It's not a legal requirement if that's what you mean. It's up to you what you do (speaking as one who forgot to put the date on ours :o:rotfl:) The only legal bit they need your full name for is giving notice but the registrar sorts all that anywayUpdating soon...0 -
Aw thanks MP!
Yay - CAFCGirl for joining team blue :j Yes it's prob kicks, i felt them early too, like 10wks. OH can even see them AND feel them now and i'm just 18wks. I nearly peed myself the other day as even though baby bean is small he was using my bladder as a football, kept getting routine kicks and with every one i needed another pee, lol! And nocturnal, my god, mine too - stays awake most of the night and evening and hardly anything during the day. He kicked the doppler last week and the MW said she was shocked to actually SEE the movement so early. On the Babybond scan too he was almost spinning about - prob why i am still sick everyday! Lol, in the pic he had a hand on his willy too - she said looks like i'll be having a proper 'lad' lol!
Yay - i just read Elasti has bubs home! Congrats and wishing you a lovely first xmas together
Erm EA - i really think you need to get a move on with your prezzie shopping lol!
Kindof - Ditto on the fosters too . We went xmas food shopping last night and the amount of alcohol OH and big bro bought i'd be crying if i don't have one lol! Bless big bro though, £260 at the till and he refused to let us pay  - He does like to look after us! And OH bought plenty of lemonade so if i want wine or anything else i can 'water it right down'.
I know this is really unapropriate seeing as we are all pregers but has anyone tasted ginger wine???? - OMG it's gorgeous! Bro bought some last night and i had a swig - very morish but i was good and gave it back, lol!Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -
I love ginger wine MGEB. My Grandma used to make a gorgous non-alcoholic one. Was so warmingMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0

Haha, just double checked and the date is on there, so thats good
Cool, i'll go with no surnames then
If the 40 people we're inviting dont know who we are then they shouldn't come at all
Mgeb- Going to toys r us tonight to get some of the kids xmas presents, they are the most important lol.0
