I have Boots own brand Glycerin, honey and lemon and it says on the bottle that it is suitable for taking in pregnancy
*Goes to check*
Yup is def ok - it's a bit confusing tho. It has a heading saying "do not take" then underneath that it says "if you are allergic or intollerant to any of the ingredients. You can take this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding"
If yours is the one in the glass bottle with yellow label and blue lid then check it again as it would be easy to misread.
Lots of labour vibes for Aless and PP - get starjumping!
It's snowing quite heavily again here - hope it stops before I go to drs this afternoon. Does anyone know if I need to take my pregnancy notes to drs when I'm going about pregnancy related sick?
Thanks for that i was pretty sure that i had brought a bottle in boots not long ago but i dont have any of that one left to check
I saw the gp last week after i saw the midwife so i had my notes on me i was only there to get another prescription of my anti sickness tablets and the doctor noticed them in my bag and asked if she could have a looknever had it before though but might be worth taking them

am going to have a rant, was 15mins late to work today thanks to inconsiderate bloody removal van, I live in a new estate so roads all very narrow, they parked right next to another car parked on other side of road so nobody could pass, asked them to move and they ignored me, so went and had a go at them, pointed out if anybody needed ambulance they could die as it can't get through and they said they can't help where they park!!! sorry how?! they parked it who else can help it!! it's always ridiculous trying to get through anyway, when it's icy like this I feel like I'm playing dodgems lol but this was way beyond reasonable0 -
Ive just called the doctors and booked my first appointment with the midwife on the 22/01/10. Oh almost let it slip to my daughter yesterday ( we are not telling the kids until my 12 wk scan) he mentioned about getting a car that seat 4 kids i rasied my eyebrows and said 4? "Oh i meant 3" he said then DD pipes up with "your pregnant again aren't you". Managed to weasle my way out it for it now but she is a sharp one and doesnt miss a thing she will be watching me now lol :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

Hi all, read the last page but brain is not engaging at the moment, will post a catch up later.
Could i ask for some move your butt vibes for the MW's today, my appointment is at 12:20 but i'm usually still sitting after 2 hrs waiting to be seen and i'm facing a bit of a nightmare. My kids get out early at 2:30 from different schools and if this appointment goes like the rest both of them will be locked out, mum is trying to sort something for me but i have her car and it means her walking which i don't' want.
AARRGGHH at least it is the last day of school, ohhhh need to remember HipG today lol
oh the joys of PG, off to pee in a bottle.:o:rotfl:[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

Iv'e just tried to have a little catch up. Well done beenie congratulations on your little girl. It sounded a quite fast labour from when you were getting pains. I am so pleased it went well and your mum was there.
Well i am :j:j:jbecause i have harry home:j The nurses wanted him to stay in over christmas but he really turned a corner very quickly and after many tears and begging to the doctors they let me stay in a connecting flat to the hospital once he had all his drips, and wires off and out so we could be together 24 hrs to bond and feed. He did so well they took out his feeding tube and let us go after another 24 hrs monitoring on the neonatal ward. Poor thing had so many tests done to him. It has been it was really hard to watch. He had a canula in his hand and foot, tons of heel pick tests was hooked up to a heart machine and another one to check his oxygen levels and had 2 chest x-rays one where he had to swallow dye to see if he had an obstruction as they said his heart muscles could be prodtruding into his throat so i am completely in shock he recovered so fast and he is home. He has to go back in 2 weeks but that is fine. Fingers crossed it isn't anything serious they are thinking it may be a strawberry birth mark on the inside of his throat so he may need a camera put down bless him. He also has lost quite a bit of weight but that is expected from 7lb 9oz he is now 6lb 12oz fingers crossed he hasn't lost any more when the MW comes in the week.
Sorry for the long post. This is my signature!0 -
Elastigirl - what wonderful news. It sounds like you've had a really traumatic time, I can't imagine what it's been like for you but he is most definitely a little fighter. I'm sure you're going to have a wonderful 1st Christmas with your little manMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0

Excallent news Elast, so glad the little one is home safe and sound with mummy, And don't worry to much(easier said than done I know) they may be small but they are resilient, everyday i look at my DD and think about the nightmare i went through with her and now she is a bounding elephant footed teenager:rotfl:[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j
