Hi I am in Exeter . My DH has asked if he needs to be there too! Bless. He is a vet and so had to tell his bosses as it is not easy for him to just pop out of work! They were really good. I too was alone for my first one 12 years ago my Ex hubby left when i did the test he never wanted children. I thought i would never meet anyone let alone have any more children until i met DH. I think this is why I am in such shock. I am the happiest and worried I have ever been x

I remember the snow it was February ! Lots of people trapped on Telegraph hill very nasty. My work lost power but it was already my day off!!!

Hello Ladies,please can I officially join too?I'm nearly 30 wks pregnant and edd is 28th feb 2010.I've been reading the thread everyday since 5 wks (I found out the same day as evansangel that I was pregnant 'cos I remember her post ).So I feel like I know you really well.
This is our 2nd baby,hubby and me have a very cheeky 3 yr old dd too.:rotfl:This baby is also a little girl so could I please have one of those cute pink signs to even out the list a little-hee.We've just moved house into the next st along so all is hectic here,no snow thou which is a little disappointing,but we live in Exeter too so wasn't really expecting it.

Morning all,

Managed to convince myself i was feeling twinges at 6am this morning so was really excited :j but i think i imagined it as nothing since so now i'm a bit down & annoyed with myself for getting my hopes up!

And i think i got OHs hopes up too when i mentioned it cos its his birthday today & he'd love to get the day off work! (and get to meet his daughter too of course )

Oh well, now i suppose i'd better plan to fill my day with lots of rubbish to keep my mind off it. Got my sweep at 3pm but not looking forward to the walk there & back. The snow's not too bad here & it hasn't snowed again yet today but its stil bl&&dy freezing!!!! Wearing leggings under my jeans, plus a vest, t-shirt & cardi, but my maternity coat is useless in this weather!

Ventured out in the snow looking like a complete muppet in my dodgy dog walking coat, my bright pink and silver stripy wellies and my enormous brown and pink stripy gloves - don't think I'm going to win any fashion sense awards! Dog was very insistent on trying to pull me over in his excitement. Managed to get some lovely photos of him in the snow though.

Feeling very homely at the mo. Have very little food in and not risking getting the car out after last night so I'm baking bread and making slow roasted tomato and chilli soup with all the tomatoes in the bottom of the fridge that are going squishy - smells divine!
