Morning ladies......am so glad I'm off sick today and didn't have to get up, deice the car and go to work. Shop has very poor heating so will be freezing today aswell!

Manchester sucks tho......you all have thick snow and we have what looks like thick frost with the grass and pavements clearly visible underneath! It's a nice sunny day tho.

DH doesn't want me to go out until it clears incase I slip and fall but I really need some fresh air so will put my best winter boots on and go for a potter to the doctors and get my prescription.

Welcome and congrats to all the new peeps....can't believe we're at the end of August already!!

  • Aww Elasti - congratulations and big hugs. Hope you managed to get some sleep ok.

We have snow here but it's not too bad. Got to work ok this morning. I am hoping we don't get too much more though as I don't like the idea of DH driving back from work at 2am tomorrow morning in a blizzard as he only passed his test in April so yesterday was his first outing in the snow!

Work is closing at 12 today so me and 2 friends are going for coffee and cake when we finish. Then got another friend coming over tonight and is staying over so that should be nice too.

Only got 3 days left in work after today too!! Whoop whoop!!!!!!!!

Oh yeah, and congrats to the newbies too - cannot believe we have August EDDs on the list!!!!!! You watch out ladies, the next 9 months will go by so fast you'll wonder what happened!

  • neneromanova your due date is close to mine ( 18/8/10 ) & Kitkats ( 17/8/10 ). It's nice to have someone to share all the ups and downs with.
    How are you feeling ?
I'm having muscle pain in my torso keeping me awake must be everything expanding
I have a 5 year old so it seems like a lifetime ago that I last went through this
    Good Luck with everything

I hate to say it but I don't feel much. I don't have morning sickness and was fine with the last pregnancy. Hopefully this birth will be as quick as the last one (5 hrs) :D

I keep getting a weird pain in either side....but then I fart and all's well....:o Forgot that keeping a fart in hurts during pregnancy. lol.

Mine is 21 months old at the moment. She saw me holding a 3 month old on the weekend and started crying. lol. Should make for a very interesting year next year.

Welcome nene!! (hey, Devon got LOADS of snow the last time around...wasn't there that terrible thing with all the cars trapped on the motorway?)

Yeah I remember that. Was soooo funny. That was down in Exeter so i'm hoping for snow on my birthday again :D
What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..
  • Congratulations Elasti and Harry! Big hugs for both of you, and fingers crossed he will very soon be home and this will be a distant, horrible memory. As others have said he is in the best place and getting stronger for when he's home with Mummy.

Set off for school at 8:25am and guess what?

Bloody Virgin bloke rang me as soon as i got to the end of the street  I told him to come back later, hopefully he does and i don't have to fight over a £10 charge for not being home. I did warn them i'd be on the school run when they booked me in.

Went to buy some milk, cereals and dog food and somehow it came to £30  I was studying my reciept for about 20 mins but it was right :(

It's amazing how many healthy strong looking blokes will stand and watch you struggle to get a 15kg bag of dog food into your trolley and car without offering to help, when you're clearly heavily pregnant and looking like you're about to pass out!

Was amusing watching everyone wheel spinning, i didn't do it once i must be a superstar driver in my little snowmobile Clio :rotfl:

It does yes I am 4 weeks! So Early days and I still can't believe it!!! I am still testing each morning like a crazy lady!!!

I am sure they will all be with us soon what with Christamas & New Year ;) !

I have made my first mid wife appointment for Jan 15th so it seems a bit more real now. Just odd to want something so much I was convienced that it would take ages!!! My DH is boosting all the time to me now!!!

He had to tell his work as he is a vet and certain drugs and animals with certain issues can effect me . They were so happy for us.

    Have you told people yet?

    Sticky beans are US!!! :D
If you can think it........it will happen
