I hate these big companies, they seem to be a law unto themselves

Missus kept being sent final warning water bills from a house she lived in at Uni 9 years ago.....it's stupid, you've got to prove you're innocent rather than them prove you're guilty. The bumholes

Still......on a positive note, might bring labour on ;)

I don't *think* i could be anymore angry with Barclaycard right now.:mad:

Morons have taken money out of my account even though i've already made a payment this month, i knew something was dodgy when their debt people kept ringing me even after i was promised i wouldn't be contacted til January. So i'm on hold, after being transferred for (no lie) the 6th time "to the right dept"

edit - ooh i'm top of the list thanks Nikki  :rotfl:

I was just about to say you got your top of the list at last!! Hope you don;t stay there too long.

Major bummer with barclaycard. I hate it when they do stuff like that  Really hope they can sort it quickly for you.

I am finishing at lunchtime today. Good job or I would be killing my trainee this afternoon I think!

lol reading back i sound like a total racist, i just hate call centres where you have to get them to repeat themselves 700 times at a cost of £10million per minute on their rip-off number.

I am peed off at myself cos in my rage this morning to ring the idiots i didn't check saynoto0870 for a different number. Little did i knowi'd be on the phone for so long

Think i'll have scared this baby out of ever making an appearance rather than bring labour on :rotfl: Seeing the mw today and she'll be getting her share of tears/rage if she doesn't give me a sweep LOL

Oh and did you know i live next door to the noisiest IDIOTS ever known to man?? They can't just close a door, they have to SLAM it. Several times. Per minute.

    Hey guys

I'm hoping you're able to help me out with some ideas. I do apologise if I've posted this in the wrong place.

My wife is now 26 weeks pregnant and due in March. I would like to buy her a special gift for when the baby arrives. What I'd like to know is what have other ladies received, if anything, from their partners on giving birth. If you didn't receive anything what kind of thing would you have appreciated as a gift. Is there any point in buying a gift.

I'm not sure what is tradition, so your comments & suggestions would be much appreciated.

My hubby just got me a card and that was all I would have wanted. At that point you've just got the best present you will ever receive in your baby so anything else would just be a bit insignificant IMO. It was of course lovely to get chocolates and flowers etc from other family, but I wasn't bothered about a gift from OH.

Congratulations Always, and I love the name!

just had best xmas pressie ,

Phoned council concerning council tax bill , as 1st jan should be last payment till 1st april, well recently the government have decided that child benefit is not taken into consideration towards your income when housing and council tax benefit is worked out, so the lady said no payment due from you this month yippee :j i thought , then she said you are in credit of £110 yippee again:j:j she is sending me a cheque today for it ,, how good is that ,,
So if anyof you get some help with council tax benefit I.e if you work and get child benefit and pay a part towards your Council tax then give them a ring and see how much you should be paying this month you never know you may be due a cheque ;)

Oh and my lovely partner gave me a christmas card which said ' to my special son and girlfriend ' it took me a while to work it out , i thought he had got me a card without reading it , and it was one which hes mum should of given us 2 , but it was for hes special son in my belly and me :D how sweet ?

I bought him one from the bump ,, heheh first time i had seen one of these in my local card shop , and he loved it :D
Dont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec

  • Hi Ladies and gents :)

I am back from a lovely but manic weekend away in Edinburgh :) I was on anti biotics for nearly a week, but they have cleared up the UTI, which is good, although while i was on the antibiotics i didn't get any nausea but now i have finished it is back !

Oh well, i was shocked to look at my chart today to see that i am 9 weeks today!!!, that time has flown!

We have started to tell people, because i have relaxed completely about this pregnancy, i am having major symptoms all the time, so quietly confident that everything is fine :)

Now to finish a couple of days at work, including a panto!!!!!! then home for a couple of days to bake and cook everything for christmas with OHs family. I am getting quite excited and would rather be home sorting it all out than here at my desk listening to builders belch and fart in my corridor!!

Oh well, i have not had time to read back, but i gather Congratulations are due to Always :):)

Also Beanie i am so sorry Barclaycard are being such sh*ts, they really do seem to make up their own rules, i hope you get something sorted and can relax and let your labour start soon, with only that as your worry :) Hugs to you :)

Right off to learn my lines!!
