Jopey - thats a family and friends code, they were given out on vouchers by staff it will work but today is the last day!
Well just had a mad morning, decided to get up early and make the most of the turkey leg I picked up. Prepped all the veg and stock got the slower cooker going and the damn thing didnt fit! eek! So ensued much hilarity as me and OH sawed down the offending leg. It now fits, yeay! But trying to make breakfast lunch and dinner all in one go, not my best idea, so it was cold coffee and toast for breakfast.
Right hope today goes faster at work, its been a lil quiet lately (building for the crazy christmas rush no doubt!), makes the day dragBaby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Morning all ladies, hope everyone is feeling good today.
It looks like we are all in the same boat with trying to do normal things cos of bumps, I have managed to get out out loading and unloading the dishwasher as it's quite sore to bend down for too long, and I can't do muhc washing up wither, I forget the bump, then when I move away I get a pain where I have been pushed up against the sink!:o
I really fancy a home baking day today, but stuck at work again. Oh well only 37 working days left!!:T
I was sent an info leaflet on swine flu today at work and was going to post it but can't work out how. It is quite helpful and I must admit i am now leaning towards having the vaccine. If anyone wants the leaflet or knows how I can post it can you let me know?
Better get back to work, see you all later xxBoots: £107.xx on AC :j

Morning everyone!
Gemma - Is it via email? As if anyone wants it they can PM you there email and you can forward it on to them?
Im not getting the vaccine, i've already had swine flu so the odds of me getting again are slim, plus i finish work in 1 week and a half, and im not going to be in crowds of people to get it
If OH gets it, i'll lock him in the bedroom lol
Last night OH was laying with his hand on bump, and she was really kicking against him, he couldn't feel it. Which suprised me cause they were very hard kicks, but it was still sweet

Hello Ladies!
Well we had a scan on monday which showed Blob at 16 1/2 weeks, it was amazing, just laying there and waving at us! We are also booked in for our c-section, 6th April! So excited can't wait now.
Is it to early to be feeling baby kick?

Not at all Jolene, they say you can feel movement/kicks between 16-20 weeks. Unless its my baby lol. I didn't feel anything until 21 weeks

Im even sat on my super comfy fat cushion which usually helps, might call my doc tomorrow
Its quiet on here tonight lol. x
I had this after I had DD as I was sat down for long periods of time breastfeeding and as my 'front bit's' were so sore, I tended to lean back and sit on my tail bone- agony!!!!
The best solution I found was to sit on two similiar sized cushions- one per cheek iyswim! lol! Leaves a gap for your tail bone to sit in and really helped me. Works the same way as those ridiculously expensive valley cushions you can get I guess.

Oooh I can't wait to get my bump back, I still miss it from when I was pregnant with my DD. I found walking up to shop counters to pay the worst I would always take one step too far and bump into the counter, then go all red and embarrassed! ha ha!
I also had the washing up prob as I would lean forward to be able to reach into the sink and end up with a really bad upper back.
By far the funniest was getting up in the morning though, no way I could of done it gracefully, I looked like a baby elephant getting up for the first time it was hilarious, I would make DH turn his back.0 -

Lol so it's not just me then, I feel like a baby elephant too getting out of bed :rotfl:0 -
I love my bump, i use it for when im cooking. For example, if im cutting a potato in half and one half flys off the side, i use my bump it bounce it back to save it from the floor lol.
And thanks for the fernliebee, i'll try that tonight0 -
Morning
Just trying to catch up quickly but so tired I can barely read!! Had to get up to drive OH to work as I need the car today, and concluded he leaves the house far too early :rotfl: & just come home to some pillock from eBay emailing to say they weren't happy with some jeans they bought cos they look a different colour to the pic...erm...all 4 pics? I must have some crazy camera to be able to make them look that different!!
EA sounds like you got a fab bargain with the clothes :money: I've been eating pineapple plenty, so wouldn't worry about eating it unless you're gonna have like 10 in a row :rotfl:
Thanks for the advice Som - funnily enough when I popped in yesterday the sales girl was telling me about the Baby Plan, but I presumed its function was to allow you to pay in installments, didn't think to ask anymore. Doh! Will pop in at the weekend with OH & find out moreI appear to have accidentally fallen in love with this range - eek, gonna go and see if we can have a look at it in real life this weekend though doubt we'll buy
I'm really struggling to pick furniture, everything I like online I find looks really clinical in real life??
Ooh what's the mexican bola like? They look lovely.
Hope Karen & Helen are with babies now
OH felt baby move for the first time last night, just as we were almost asleep I said quick he's moving see if you can feel and he couldn'tBut he left his hands there and suddenly felt this massive kick - I didn't tell him and he went 'Oh my god, wow, I can feel him...it was him, wasn't it?' :rotfl: Bless him, never seen him so excited, he then started having a chat with his son telling him that this was bedtime and he's to go to sleep now, preferably through the whole night
Lovely moment, so pleased for him that he got to feel
Eek Gemma, not looking forward to not being able to drive, fingers crossed you manage to sort a new carBaby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0
