  • Morning ladies

I had the worst nights sleep ever kept waking up wanting to be sick but i wasnt actually sick :( then about half 4 in the morning both the girls ended up in my bed  im hoping they will stop that when they realise there is gonna be a cryng baby in there to wake them up soon :rotfl:

Dropped DD1 off at school she has gone on her school trip to the panto this morning, went and brought some of the pta raffle tickets for their xmas raffle £1 a ticket or a strip for £2  cant see the logic in that one myself :rotfl:

Now sat here waiting for a lady from freecycle to deliver a single bed so that my friend can sleep, she brought over a blow up airbed and she cant sleep on it bless her and there is noway i can have her sleeping badly while she is here for the next few weeks just because she is worried about me :o

I have got a few more xmas cards to write this morning and i have got to package up another 2 ebay parcels and really should get some more stuff sorted and put in turbolister but eurghhh its so boring doing it :(

Got the school xmas bazaar this afternoon which should be good though :j

Beenie grrr @ ur sis!!! People like that really wind me up id tell you all about my little sister (she is 23 so not that little though :rotfl: ) but im not even going to think about it or il get myself stressed its better the way things are whereas i have nothing to do with her at all its a stress free life then :D :rotfl:

always hope the sweep starts working soon for you hun xx

    Hi everyone,

Thanks for the good luck and vibes, they seem to have worked! Just back from my scan, they redated me, from 12+4 to 11+3 so I'm now due on 22nd June 2010. One baby, all arms, legs, head and body and heartbeat present :j Got to see some big stretches and a fair bit of movement which was lovely.

it's oh so real and very weird now!

  • Well i have had a pleasent morning out shopping prob for the last time (apart from food shopping) on my own. Picked up 2 knitwear items from DP as they have 20% off and a bag i know i shouldn't as i won't know what size i will be afterwards but i can always take them back but i am sure i will wear them.
But i had 2 sensations that i didn't like much and one of them almost took my breath away and i had to stop walking. It was like the baby was moving down and pressing on my pubic bone it was a little painful and odd. Then sorry tmi i had a gush! I thought omg my waters are starting to go. I nipped to the loo and my knickers were really wet! It wasn't wee before you ask :rotfl:It wasn't even like discharge but runny fluid! I hope it wasn't the start of something. It's been about 30 mins now and i not had anything else.

Got home and my product test of the birthing dress was on the mat. It's really nice, not as long as i expected it to be but then maybe bump is taking it up a bit and maybe i asked for a size too big but you would be flashing everyone your boobs so would need a vest under it. I will get hubby to take a pic of me wearing it later.

  • Hi everyone,

Just been catching up all the posts.

Beenie - familys are totally rubbish. I have been very lucky with mine but my oh's are different story. It is very true that you cant choose your family. Try and keep your chin up hun.

Esio - am sooo pleased everything went ok at your scan. I am feeling a little more relaxed after mine but i am sure that i will be worrying again come the 20wk scan.

Maria - am so sorry for your loss. Big hugs from me.

Always...labour vibes for you. My birthday is on the 13th...not that i think you will be waiting that long.

Sorry if i have missed anyone but i cant remember anything else!!

Well we told my folx last night...to say they were over the moon was an understatment. Mum sobbed for about 10mins!! I think her phone was hot last night as she was busy telling everyone.

We are going to start telling people now as and when we see them as i wanted my folx to be the first. The amount of lies i have told to cover my pg up has been stupid...at least i dont have to do that any more.

I am really off food...just dont fancy anything at all...makes t time really tricky as i have no enthuasism for food. Am sure oh is getting fed up of frozen p's with everything ;-)

Well i had better go now as i have loads of post to send today so it gets to nz for xmas and 101 things to do before i go out tonight.

    Will catch up soon

Hello!! Internet has been down 'til just now so just doing a catch-up. I was feeling withdrawal without my MSE fix :D.

ooo, elasti that sounds like waters! MWs told me the best way to tell if you're unsure is to go for a pee then put on a pad and check after 30 minutes. If it's wet, then you're leaking waters - if it's dry, it was probably just pee! :rotfl: If you go into labour early, will they have to emergency c/s you? If so, then we can give you big stay put vibes!!

Beenie, sorry for your crummy family. You deserve so much better...you too, 3. Even though all my family is across the pond, I count myself lucky they are all sane and nice people. ILs are another story though :rotfl:

PP, must've been something in the air as I had a HORRID night's sleep. Heartburn like crazy, crampy legs, could not get comfy for the life of me. Luckily DH was practically passed out after his work Xmas do so I didn't keep him awake, lol. Don't really feel tired today, bizarrely enough, but prolly just b/c I haven't done a single productive thing all day!!
top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

would like to win a holiday, please!!

omg, i decided it was about time i pulled out all my acquired baby stuff from the back of the cupboards, and started to do an inventory on what clothes/ages i have, wish i never started my bedroom is like a charity shop warehouse :rotfl:

I hardly had anything til the other day, then my mate came with some donations in a bag which looked deceptively small, but i think i'm ok for clothes now  Just need hats!!

I'm not finished yet, had to come away cos i was sitting on my bed frame and got a numb bum :o

I haven't had anything else but it def wasn't wee tmi again but i had white knickers on and i did the smell test :rotfl:
He can def stay put i am desperate to see ds in his xmas play next week. They said if i go into labour then they will still do a section. I have been trying to get stuff sorted for my bag but iv'e gone really sleepy and got to pick up ds in a mo.

Were meant to be putting the tree up tonight so we have all weekend free to get the house how we want it and any bits done that we need to as our last weekend before bubs is very busy with birthday parties and hospital visits. I have an apt on mon so they can talk me though the op and the anesthetic as i had GA with ds and may need it again but fingers crossed they will try a spinal first.

Just popping back into here from the Parents thread ...

Is there anyone in the Pregnancy thread that has just had an early or small baby, or who knows their baby is going to be born early or very small?

I have some <5lb clothing (boys/unisex) and some micro nappies that Andrew has now grown out of, which might be useful to someone. PM me if appropriate.

This reminded me, my MIL gave me two brand new but now non-bio washed pale yellow sleepsuits for up to 6lb when we thought little man might have been delivered at 32/34 weeks. PM me or Tigster, would anyone on parenting thread benefit from these?
