Really rubbish about the car SJ :( Hopefully it'll keep going for a bit longer. I'll come & ferry you around if you get stuck :D Did you get to pick up your pushchair from MIL?

Sorry I misses that bit off your past post - yes we picked up the pram and it's fab!! Dead easy to put together / take apart with the different bits and it's in immaculate condition! Apart from the wheels having obviously been used outside the rest looks brand new so I am very chuffed!

Thanks for the offer of a lift too!!! :D

they are exactly the same as the gym ones in asda. I must admit to not doing very well with my rlt. I like the taste but feel a bit funny after i drink it - a bit sicky. I am supposed to be doing 2 cups now but i barley manage one:o

I will be starting on my RLT soon too! This is allc oming around so quick! I remember glam posting her pland and I saved it too, thinking at the time that it was such a long way off!!! Not that long now though!

I'm back at MW tomorrow for my (late) 28 week appointment as I was away last week so will actually be 29 weeks. Bloods again tomorrow which doesn't bother me but I'm hoping she will book me on for my home visit tomorrow to discuss HB.

Beenie sorry your mum has been like that woth you today, sure that's the last thing you need right now.

PP sorry your drs are rubbish! Hope you manage to find a decent one to swap to.
  • Well the weekend came and went so fast, i still haven't packed my bag. The babies bag is done though so that's something. I have been in awful pain with my arm since the swine flu jab and me and hubby was starting to get worried as it really was a big, hard, red lump and the inflammation was starting spread up my arm so i may have had a little infection. But thankfully this morning it started to go down and it isn't as painful now.

I must be mad but i am running a tombola for my sons school this week at there xmas craft fair so i am busy getting things for that and folding and sticking tickets.

can anyone remember when their OHs first started to feel the movement (if that makes any sense)?
LOL just seen your post, OH only felt it a couple of weeks ago when he cuddled me in the night and bump decided dad was invading his space lol

But the kicks were visible by around 22 weeks so they would have felt them if i let them try. Maybe sooner if he try's to relax with his hand on bump. HTH

Just a thought but is this your first? most people say that it wont be as soon first time round, i don't agree with that but worth bearing in mind.

    Never mind:rotfl:

  • Thanks Three - My husband was asking earlier (I think he's been expecting to be able to feel it since I was about 8 weeks!) and I couldn't remember when it was with my first pregnancy.

Sorry took so long to post, was knackered after work this evening (only 30 mins late)!

All is well, scan was fine - so amazing to see the wee thing in my tummy! It was moving about a lot and waving its arms :D According to the measurements I'm 13 weeks and a day. So due date is 6th June 2010, please add me to the list!

It was just such a relief to see it, & hear someone say everything looks normal. Apart from the little thing lying awkward - face down towards my groin; trying to escape already?! Photos not great, but lovely to have anyway; I want to know the sex now! Bah.

Thank you for all your good wishes, the support of people on here has been so helpful. :)

Beenie sorry your Mum is being a pain; doesn't she have a mobile phone? If not you know what to get her for Christmas! ;) Just a cheapie tenner one or something. I need to get my mum another one - she lost hers to son in law..

    Morning all,

PP your midwife sounds utterly carp & I'd move asap if it were me.

Lou hope you're feeling a bit better this morning & you're able to have a lovely breakfast to make up for no tea :D

SJ pushchair sounds brilliant! Hope all goes well with the midwife today & you get the home visit booked in :)

Redstar I *think* OH first saw baby kick at 21 weeks and felt somewhere around 22/23?

Lauz so pleased the scan went well :D

Kindof I feel the same, but think I'm in a bit of denial!! Now it's December it seems even closer somehow!

Think that's me caught up :) Not sure if anyone will remember but I cancelled my bank card yesterday as I'd lost it, OH came home, looked through a pile of my papers and was like 'I'm suprised you got as far as cancelling your card, you know what you're like', I look up and yep, he's found my bank card, doh! Nevermind, my spending powers have been taken from me til the new one arrives, can't be a bad thing :rotfl:

ooh & in baby news, I've developed a linea nigra! OH noticed when I was in the bath, 'it looks like you have a line of dark hair down your belly', er, thanks! It's really weird, it's in the middle down to my belly button then from my belly button down it's really far to one side!
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j

    Ooo, quiet this morning!

lauz - congrats on a successful scan, yay! :D

elasti - don't panic too much about the bag - I only JUST started putting mine together yesterday! And since you have a scheduled c-section, I suppose it's not as big a deal for you since you KNOW when the baby will come whereas I'm paranoid it'll just fall out at any second, lolol...

  • Redstar my DH first felt kicks about 21ish weeks I think. Still haven't managed to let my mum feel though as it's hard to predict when a kick is going to come! Need to go round and let her just sit with her hand on my bump waiting really! MIL was a bit upset too I think that every time she put her hand on the kicking stopped! She's coming down to visit us in January though so shoul dbe able to feel it then.

gymfriend I've not got that line, kept waiting for it to appear after all the guides said it might at about 12 weeks. Thought maybe that was me not getting it but maybe it's just later for some people.

I had a bath last night too but the water wasn't hot enough so I just sat there, pi55ed off, for about 5 minutes then got out again!

I need some motivation today. I'm sat at work and already counting down to when I can leave! Luckily it's only at 12.30 as I have MW app at 1.15 but I really ought to get some work done while I'm here!!

Oh, and I'm just sat drinking my first cup of RLT!!! I only drink herbal teas at work and had bought some about a year ago. Then saw people talking about it on here and saved the half box I had left. Just having one now and might have 1 every other day-ish for the next 3 weeks then start bumping it up.

Lauz yey for your scan all being well!!! Bet that is a weight off your mind!
