Afternoon everyone!

Hope everyone's feeling well. I haven't been sick in over a week now and i've even started getting out of bed before 10 so well pleased!

We picked up the moses basket and stand we bought on ebay at the weekend. It's absolutely gorgeous and in perfect condition. Starting to get excited now, making lists of things that need doing over the next few months. Starting with the kitchen - we've ripped out a cupboard to fit a slimline dishwasher in as at the moment we've got a tiny tabletop one that doesn't clean properly. Also putting in a new sink to replace the horrible corroded plastic sink we've got now. Feeling very motivated!

Can't wait for my 20 week scan, not until after new year unfortunatly so we've been trying to get a heartbeat on the doppler but not having much luck.

EA - When you cooked your chicken last night did you take the chicken out of the fridge beforehand to come up to room temperature? I normally take it out about an hour and a half before I want to put it in oven otherwise you have to allow extra time for bringing up to temp in the oven iyswim?

Well I will not be here much apart from when I am off work and on my lunch, I got pulled by my EO this morning, in the month of oct while I was at work out of the 150 hours I was logged in, I was on the internet for 78 hours thank god my boss is a good boss and I just got a warning

I was shicked myself how much I must be on here, so after my lunch is over I wont be back on till later xxx

Been to pick up the car, i'm totally over the moon, everything feels better now, i've been so worried about being left with no car over winter after the hassle with the last one and then risking buying this one with a short MOT.

I actually feel less tired now than I did in the last month or so of pregnancy, although entertaining the in-laws at the weekend nearly finished me off. I'd definitely recommend letting guests know when it's time to leave- I didn't and ended up almost in tears!

I bought a meat thermometer for a couple of pounds and i htink it's really handy for checking when meat is done. Also are you sure the legs etc weren't cookes as they still stay a bit pink whereas the breast goes totally white? DH always thinks I haven't cooked the chicken long enough becasue of that!

Sorry to hear that but glad you got off with a warning. I am on the internet all day at work but luckily have never been pulled up on it!!

I did once get into trouble at a previous job in a call centre for internet use though. The managers could log in on their computer and watch your screen on their screen, and he was watching me look for new jobs!!!! :rotfl: He didn't see the funny side! I really hated that job though - I'd recommend nobody ever goes to work for o2!

Nicki - congratualtions and sorry about your OH's grandad Maybe it will be nice for the family to have a bit of good news after the sad news though.

Afternoon ladies
Hope everyone is ok, was able to read on here last night but not post much because laptop went on a slow down. Still sorting out and getting wound up as i feel like it's just me thats doing it all which i know is not true as oh is at work and cant do anything but it is still winding me up. Had a very lazy morning as i think it could be my last one for a while. Glad to hear you are having a good day bennie and welcome coventgirl. I am 38 weeks today and in shock that bumper may be here in 9 days !!!!!!!!!!

Anyone got an opinion on this for me please Gotta buy for SIL for Christmas, expectations cost wise are high but I'm tight and don't want to spend!! Would this be ok?
