  • That's good Kindof!

We are still struggling with names although we do have a shortlist. Only thing that's definite is the middle name if it's a girl - Ruth, after DH's granny who dies last year.

We are both very indecisive though and I'm worried we won't be able to choose!

:( We need a new car. Ours is on its last legs (oil leak into the engine and not worth paying to fix) but we can't afford a new one. Can't get decent credit as we both have pretty rubbish history in the past, and now I have a lot of debt (we consolidated but only in my name) and DH is self employed and on a low wage. DH has been to the bank today to ask for £1500 extension on his loan (only about £1k outstanding on it now) but they said no. Really don't want to get some shady car finance deal but really wanted to get a new one before this ones dies. I really struggle without a car as it is, let alone if it died while I was 9 months pregnant or with a newborn

We will just have to try and save up but it's sod's law ours will die before we get chance to buy another

My blood is boiling right now i swear if my mums sister says one more itchy comment to me i will swing for her. she is so up herself that when i was giving mum and dad into trouble for bickering she chirped in all loud and obnoxious saying i was picking on HER and had no right to speak to her like that. She didn't even realize that i was talking to mum and dad.

So know OH is in a huff because i told him if he dose not fix the car today he will be walking the kids to school as i refuse to be in the same car as her and as we are using mums car i'm expected to run them around.

And to top it all she supposedly was here to help mum cope with her loss but dad told me she had booked a flight home on Friday for when the papers at the bank are signed later this week. Is it just me or doesn't that stink of materialism and not sisterly love.

    Congratulations Kelinik on team blue.
Good luck with the scans later forgot who now to busy ranting lol sorry

phew, I need to sit down! Sorting out baby stuff is exhausting!! I also realised in a bit of a panic this morning that I haven't a thing put together for my hospital bag, so I've started doing that as well, but feels like there's quite a few things on my list that I need to buy for it still. It's times like these I could kill for driving license.

Sorry for the car trouble, SJ & 3! Ours isn't hot either, but luckily DH only drives it to work 3 miles & back otherwise we'd be screwed as well! I'm praying it copes with winter okay and dreading MOT in Feb...

I found out yesterday that a girl i know has had an emergency c section, she wasn't due until January 23rd, and her little boy (jacob :D) weighs 2lbs something (i forgot the next bit) but he's fine and breathing on his own :D

  • Hi everyone! Just dropping in to say that Caitlyn MacNaughton was born on Friday morning (27 November) at 10.52am and weighed 9lb.

Will compose birth story when I have time..but in short went into labour on Wednesday evening, and was fine until they had to break my waters on late Thursday evening. Then the contractions suddenly became so frequent and painful I wasn't coping too well. Had an epidural which made things alot easier....but ended up with a c section as she didn't show any inclination of wanting to come into the world (she never even made it near my birth canal apparently!). But all ended well...and we got home late last night! I'm one chuffed mummy! :D
