Boo hiss to boots too! I lost my voucher to get the free changing bag so e-mailed them and asked if i could still claim it as i'm always in there buying stuff and they said no:o, they dont re-issue lost vouchers.
Congratulations on having a baby boy:) How old is your other son/s?
Is the boots changing bag voucher in the bouty pack that the midwives give out...if so I probably have a spare (if you want it) as I didn't claim my bag last year...probably won't this time either!!ymakesmile wrote: »I have a question........maybe a silly one but I'm sure you all know. Is it okay to have hot baths? I usually love having hot baths at this time of the year but I'm wondering if it's safe to do so. I can't stand having a bath that's only warm so if I can't have it a decent temperature I'll just have to day dream about one instead
I am the same, hate, hate, hate cold baths or even lukewarm baths...I have reduced the temp a bit but once I am in in I tend to top it up a bit hotter:cool:Hello ladies
I've been dipping in and out as I dont really feel like I "belong" over here just yet, nothing personal, its just me being silly about not really being pregnant.
I'm 11 weeks today, and (finally) had my dating scan last week (after so many phone calls and arguments etc).....
Im still waiting on my booking in appt and 12 week scan...
But on a positive note, I've seen our baby, and his little heart going 10 to the dozen, and it made me feel a lot safer in this pregnancy. Our first pregnancy ended in mmc, and we only found out at the 12 week scan and that was a year ago...
Anyway...... in short.......
I feel a bit lost, I'm not working as we're about to relocate to the north, I suffered really badly with morning/24/7 sickness, and Im a bit scared about whats going on, how we're going to afford the baby, whether im going to be a good enough mum.... and i dont really know anyone else whose been pregnant to talk to about any of it....
sorry to just offload .....
Hi CAFCgirl, congratulations on your pregnancy:) sorry to hear about your loss last year...tbh I am trying to remember if I recognise you from preg thead or ttc thread last year!
Where about up north are you relocating to? Feel free to come on and chat away as much as you want to us:)

Thanks lou:D - its just a bit awkward at the mo as i have had to put her on a pillow on the floor and bending is getting a bit difficult:o - i will be 34 weeks tomorrow:D
Aless i can totally sympathise with the one good nights sleep then one bad. Here's hoping you can rest more when you are on ML.
EA - how did you do your sis hair extensions? I cut my v.long hair off as i couldnt manage it whilst preg and had visions of it growing to my bum as it was growing so long:rotfl: but now i am regretting it:o
Another question - apart from the child trust fund which i know has limitations - what savings are you doing / planning to do for your lo? Any suggestions for low income family?0 -

My sisters one are just clip in, she went to a shop and bought the extension hair, and i measured it all to her head and then sewed on the clips and then put it all in.
Its good because you can change it all the time then, but with the hair extension hair you can also glue them in.
If you do decide to glue it it, dont get the black glue. Its horrible and sticks your hair in clumps and has to be cut out
I learnt the hard way lol.
The glue called "liquid gold" is meant to be good.
If you do have the clips you can get them pre sewn, or sew them yourself

They look like...
Or you can get ones that are individually bonded to your hair, they are called Balmain extenions, and are quite expensive as you have to keep going back to the salon to get them re put back in every 4 months or so
