Good morning ladies, and gent

I have been to my conference for a bit today and will head back after lunch, just had to do some work, and then the new head of school is giving a talk so looking forward to hearing what he has to say!

Walking up every morning feel soooo ill, but seem to be getting better during the day, which worries me a little (silly i know!), boobs are the main thing that is making me know i am pg!
Can i ask a silly question, did anyone NOT experience the needing a wee a lot, early in your pg? I don't seem to need to go anymore frequently than normal, and that means not a lot, i have always had a very large bladder!?? I am sure it is nothing to be worried about, just find it odd.

Back from MW all ok but i got a sample pot from the docs and i have left it at the childrens center :rotfl:so i will have to get another one again.
Mw said oh what a shame brand new stretch marks! I hadn't got any from this pg until now but thanks for pointing them out to me like i didn't know they were there. I feel a bio oil order coming on. I am 37 + 4 but measuring 40 wks heartbeat was good but i am not having much movement at all which we are keeping an eye on but i seem to remember i hardly got any at this stage with my ds. She could really feel the head and it was free not engaged so that is good as everyone keeps saying i am going to have him before my section date.

She didn't give me a big breast feeding speech like she said she would, she just said remember to offer him both sides. I am seeing her one last time the wed before my section to check he is still happy in there and that is it.

Thanks Som, I wouldn't know what to do with the inside of a plug, will try & get my dad to have a look Feel sorry for poor baby today, yuck gloss fumes followed by electric shock!

Cot has just arrived, bless, the delivery men were like, oh we're not meant to come in your house but we can't have you trying to drag this upstairs, so they brought the cot in and put it in our other spare room for me, I must look a ragged wreck so they took pity :T

LL i have only just in the last few weeks noticed i am going to the loo more. I drink a lot of water anyway but i hadn't been going any more than usual untill now. I won't have a drink before bed as i wake every night anyway to go to the loo and i get stomach ache if i am holding it too long. I can't even take ds to school without being completely desperate to go when i get there.

What a mean thing for the midwife to point out Elasti!!

LL - I didn't get the increased need to pee at all til about 15 weeks, when I had to pee everynight throughout the night but it only lasted for about a week, and only now at 25 weeks am I finding I need to go more in the day. Nothing to worry about at your stage

ooh am happy bubs just gave me a big whack. Mw was a bit concerned as she said it's all very well to hear a heartbeat but you still need the 10 movements a day. It's hard though i am sure i don't get 10 a day. It is different now. they are more like rolls which can go un noticed not kicks any more.

cool review though nikki, my ds would love one of those.

Thanks everyone i've not done anything since my last post just been lurking and playing on FB, very productive (not!:rolleyes:). Need to get the last few strips of lining paper up and paint, then paper the 'feature' wall, preferably to be finished by tomorrow but it's not looking likely.

gymfiend, i feel your pain re. the glossing, i hate hate hate it lol. It gets everywhere and turps is magic but stinks.

aless, the weird thing is i never need the loo when i'm waking up in the night, but as soon as i stand up i feel like i might well pee myself cos baby is enjoying my pillow bladder constantly nowadays!

always - "few more days" NOO!! hehe don't say it like that it's months away yet (isn't it?!:eek:) I know what you mean though, i'm blaming hormones and tiredness.

elasti - are you due on the 12th? Cos that's mine and i thought i was 37+4 today but i could be wrong! I got a stand in mw a few weeks ago and she mentioned my stretchmarks to the student, but they are my old ones from DS and not even red so i wasn't impressed!

It was my mistake not yours beenie i am 36+4 not 37 but am having my section on the 14th. I think i will pack my bag at the weekend. Have you thought about doing yours?
