Right i need to have something for dinner but i cant be bothered to cook.

So its either a Supernoodles to go, or a Pasta 'n' Sauce.

Need to wash up to, but its sooo cold downstairs due to the cat needing the stupid window open so he can get in and out, brrr!

I might be back on later, OH still has another 3 hours left of work :(

    xx
  • Hi ladies, just popping back to say hello and make sure your all keeping well and bumps are behaving.

Just skimmed a couple of pages and noticed the talk about calcium, I took this daily and my labour was 6hr 34mins on my notes with only gas and air for the last 1hr 40mins. I got to the hospital 2hrs 2mins before Isla arrived and fully expected to be told I had ages to go! Normally I pop the strongest painkillers possible even for the smallest headache so I really think the calcium helped.

Isla's an angel, we're getting there with the feeding and I highly recommend stocking up on the lansinoh beforehand if anyones planning on breastfeeding as its been a lifesaver the last few days.

I'll get my birth story wrote soon, hugs and vibes to all in need x x

I so agree with this! And it's half price in Sainsburys till tomorrow.

Just been listening to baby's heatbeat on my doppler, got it nice and clear this time! Think he/she was moving about loads as well coz we kept getting lots of really loud bangs! Can't wait till I feel him/her move tho. I'm 17+2 so hopefully won't be long.

I rang the drs to find out about my swine flu jab and typically they were as unhelpful as they possibly could be. They said 500 letters had been sent out and that more would be, but they couldn't possibly say when I might receive mine. Grrr. Now that I've made up my mind to have it I want it now lol

  • Hi EA, I am on twitter as whirlix :)

Just read Boogellys post about your labour, it sounds very similar times to mine!! I got to the hospital about 1 hr 50 mins before I gave birth, they didnt realise how far gone I was up until then and had only given me 2 paracetamol, then she examined me and I was 9cm!! I was then on gas and air for about the last hour, thank gawd!!

All going well here, Toby had put on 1lb in when he was weighed on Monday which they were pleased with, breastfeeding is going well and we seem to be getting into a little bit of a routine which is good. Started my birthstory last night so I will get it finished and posted on here :)

Will try and catch up properly, hope everyone is ok. xx
