I hate blood tests full stop lol I told MW I get dizzy etc and the whole way through (until I actually passed out) she was telling me what bouncy juicy veins I have - yuk!! Not a good way to get me to relax!
Luckily my blood clinic know me quite well - I have to go regularly for iron checkc and various things as I've been blacking out ever since having dd over 5 years ago and they still don't know why!! So they close off the room and sing to distract me :rotfl:0 -
Ha, took them long enough! Just got a text from my GP about swine flu vaccines. I am well and truely knackered and i haven't finished for the day yet. I have been in the babies room all day tidying and cleaning 4 years of carp away. There is a ton of stuff on the floor still which i am delaying picking up as i just can't bend over. But i want it done today so better finish it in a bit. I can't be bothered to drag the hover upstairs but it must be done.
Hubby is on his late night again so me and ds are going to fetch some chips for our tea naughty but nice and i have worked hard for them.
I bought a preg yoga DVD from morrisons in the bargain bin for £1 and i have never used it. i think i will put it on tomorrow now you have all reminded me. I have midwife in the morning and she wants to go though breast feeding with me for some reason. I am sure nothing has changed since i had my ds.
I have my swine flu jab on thurs. I wasn't going to have it but hubby works in a high risk area and they were the main provider of tamiflu in our area. So he has advised me to have it. He had his last week and he said it was really painful and this is from someone who doesn't feel pain so i am not looking forward to it. He was also under the weather for a few days after it.
i am going to be reviewing this I can't believe the price .This is my signature!0 -

I don't get that either... MW told me she'd be going through it with us further in... told her I bf dd for 9 months without any problems so what is the point in wasting everyone's time?!0 -
Ooh how hi-tech Aless, texting patients! I've not heard anything about swine flu jab yet, midwife didn't even mention it yesterday, not fussed though as I don't plan to get it.
Elasti that looks lovely, where is it you're testing for?
MW hasn't discussed breastfeeding with me past the lecture I got at about 8 weeks on breast is best, sounds like mine are pants compared to everyone elses!
Mr Tesco has just been and they substituted my white toblerone with fruit and nut, yuckOh & OH's tuna in sunflower oil to tuna in brine, and I didn't bl&*dy read it so signed to say it was ok, will have to return it tomorrow, boo! Mr Carpet has also been & will be fitting my new carpet on Thursday, same day cot is due to arrive, wahoooooooo
Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
I had my swine flu jab today at 2pm, stung a little as it went in but not as much as the Anti D injection did.
Arm doesn't feel sore at all, i can't even feel where i had it! Doctor said i will prob get a temp runny nose etc for the next 24 hours but nothing as of yet so hoping it won't come soon! It was only 3 hours ago after all...
Got quite a bit done today, papered around the window and radiator and managed to go askew somewhere along there so the next strip is wonkyNever mind, i'm sure i won't notice once the paint is on. My mam painted the walls i'd papered at the weekend and it looks lovely so far
