I'm here lurking :) No tea for me - after lunch with SJ I still don't think I can fit another thing in!!

EA isn't it exciting when OH can feel baby? :D My OH loves it, every night in bed he talks to him and asks him to kick for daddy, bless him.

GISI isn't gift baby buying the best? I love it, feel like I can justify beautiful expensive things :) Hopefully baby visiting will encourage your LO to make an appearance too!

Anyone had a TENS machine for general pain, rather than specific labour pain? Having a total nightmare with backache at the minute & debating whether to get one...

  • Yeah I don't actually feel hungry but I'll eat some tea anyway! Can't believe I'm not piling the weight on!!

I've had mine gisi, just can't be bothered to load up the laptop and my iPod takes a while to reload the page lol.

Baby kicks are getting stronger :) OH felt them last night when she started going Kicking crazy hehe

Maybe you could get her something that shows she an older sister? Like an 'big sister' top or something :)

I was thinking that, but not sure where I can get one. I can only get to shops that you can park quite near to at the moment! I think I'll go for a book or something.
Yup I was having tea, sausages, egg and chips, nom!! Since had rich tea biscuits though, no need!! I cannot seem to stop eating!! (I am not even gonna try and put that down to a due to give birth symptom, hehe!!)

Baby has been quite active today which is nice and reassuring but goes against the thought that labour may be soon a bit!!

My MW said that baby doesn't necessarily quieten down straight before the birth. She may have been trying to placate me though :rotfl:.

SJ- Isn't baby TV the best!

Gymfiend- I love buying baby gifts at any time but it's brilliant at the moment as I can get all the things I'd like if we have a boy!

Im here but going for tea shortly, OH's heating up leftover chicken & veg pie I made y'day and we're having proper dirty chips done in the fryer :D Yum, yum.

We've just done my bump cast too, soo messy and such a weird feeling being all wrapped up like a mummy. As soon as its dried properly I'll take a piccie and post it, im amazed at just how huge bump looks  I look at it in the mirror but seeing an actual life size replica is very strange.

Belly monkeys been really quiet today, enough squirms that I know she's ok but definately quieter than the last few days. I think she's swapped places with your active bump Boo.

Gisi is there a mothercare you can park near? How about this http://www.mothercare.com/Mothercare-Cool-Big-Sister-T-shirt/dp/B002HMZQFI/sr=1-1/qid=1258053995/ref=sr_1_1/279-7133633-2489628?_encoding=UTF8&m=A2LBKNDJ2KZUGQ&n=42764041&mcb=core

Had to stay late at work for a meeting, so only have just finished dinner and sat down to the laptop! Had terrible night's sleep, so really all I wanna do is go to bed? Wish it was acceptable to do at 7:30pm! :p

OH tried to feed me when he had his tea just now but there was no way on earth I could've had it, cherry coke will do instead :D

GISI not sure if it's your thing but I think books like these are lovely, apparently verse & rhyme is very good for getting kids involved in reading too from a young age because they can remember it easily? So I'm told anyway :)

Anyone got Virgin phone/broadband/tv? Looking at changing...

  • Thanks for the gift ideas. I do have a huge Mothercare nearby so will see if I can get that T-shirt as it's so cute! I also love that book and am going to order it for my niece for Xmas as she would love it!

Aless- 7:30pm is a respectable bed time when you're heavily pregnant :D!

I think EA has Virgin broadband even though she works for Sky!

Yeah we have virgin media tv phone & broadband. The bb is great, tv is good and we don't have a phone to plug in yet to use the phone bit hehe :)

The v+ box is ugly tho, looks like a VCR from the 80's or something :p

    I have ben & jerrys cookie dough :) £1.99 in the co-op :D
