three did she take her own life? It's bloody terrible. It doesn't make it any easier even if you didn't get on well, that itself can stir up lots of extra pain :(

No idea beenie, have my suspicions it has something to do with her partner. I don't trust the guy one bit and he is known to be violent, for all i know she could have fell down the stairs.

Just hope my nephew is OK. He is a little toe rag like his mum but they had argued last week and he refused to talk to her when she called so it will haunt him for a long time. will need to see about counseling or something for him.

Night all off to cuddle OH think he needs it tonight.

Had my appt today all went well initially - nice senior midwife, notes checked by consultant, an examination by anethestist - supposidly i have an under pronounced jaw and short neck - charming:rolleyes: She suggested an epidural on the onset of established labour so they can just top me up if they need to do an emergency cs and due to maternal bmi. growth scan booked for 36 weeks - lovely a lovely chance to see beanie:D:D:D

    Then...........

I got to reception and they said"have you been given a date for your 36 week c section - we have been told you are going to have one":eek::eek::eek:- i nearly fell to the floor - someone this afternoon has decided that i need to have a cs at 36 weeks without telling us and with no medical reason:confused: - idoits:mad:

Explained that i hadnt been told anything about the early cs and that my notes said open birth plan with early epi NOT a CS 4 weeks early:rolleyes: So said i was to have a growth scan and meetng with consultant at 36 weeks but they couldnt find the scan request:mad: which is very important as beanie is measuring just over 2 weeks ahead and consultant requested it, And someone took my notes out of the back of my file with all my bf and physio spd etc info from the midwife and appt letters out without telling me so they have gone missing:mad:

We gave up trying to sort it all out and came home - so after exmplary care by mw and anethestics team we are now rather confused and worried they are going to take the baby out early  I have left a messagge for my CM saying she will have to sort it out

Off to catch up....just went through multiquoting and lost them all so will have to have another go tomorrow.

But huge hugs to three - thats terrible news - my condolences to you and your family

All sorted - thank goodness:D My community midwife just called and said that any decision regarding a csection will be made at your 36 week appt and is your decision too - i forgot this bit:o
She is working in the hospital today so is going check hospital copy of my notes to try to find the scan request paperwork and my paperwork which has been taken. :j

She will also pass on a complaint to the senior midwife as she said it is very unfair to frighten a pregnant mum by by telling her in front of receptionists and other patients that she is to have her baby 4 weeks early by csection without her prior consent or any discussion
    So:beer: to my lovely MW

PP that’s ok I only live 2 mins from a big asda and do most of my shopping there anyway so wasn’t a problem to pick up in store.

    Fishcake congrats on team pink!!

Aww GISI sorry to hear baby has turned. You’ll have to get scrubbing the floor or something and try to get it to turn back!! Really hope it does though and that does start things off for you. Hope you had a good night’s sleep last night and are feeling a bit better today.

Mermaid that’s kinda funny about being congratulated in front of DD’s dad! Sorry I shouldn’t laugh but I have a wicked sense of humour! Hope the blood tests go ok for you

Lilacbelle good luck with the scan today!

Jopsey welcome to Team Surprise!! Hope the scan went well. I loved my 20 week scan, it was so good to see Tic Tac moving around and feeling the kicks at the same time!

I forgot to ask my MW what the policy was in our area on going overdue. I just hope I’m not more than 2 weeks over as that will mean I can’t have my HB

Som I want a pumpkin outfit for baby next year!! I wonder if I can find one reduced somewhere now. I’m already planning on getting Christmas outfits reduced in January to put away for next year.

Three I’m so sorry to hear your news. You are so strong to be dealing with everything you have going on at the moment, especially combined with being pg too. (((hugs)))

Jha that’s crazy they can book you in for an early section and not even tell you! Hope your CMW can sort it all out for you. ETA - Cross posted!! Glad she sorted it out for yo and I bet you are feeling loads better now :)

PP glad you had a good sleep and hope you can manage to eat something today. Have you tried soup or ice cream?
  • Hi SJ, i think I saw halloween outfits reduced on M&S and also going cheap on ebay just after halloween so might still be worth a look.

Jha - so glad your MW managed to sort things out for you, still horrible and stressful at the time though, grr!!

PP Hope you manage to eat something today and it doesnt hurt too much xx

Well Im still here so no due date baby for me :( Actually no real signs at all!! Had a good nights sleep though :) Off to do my dog walks shortly so will be back on after lunch, I am then gonna try and think of something constructive to do this afternoon!! xx
