I never used to like slippers at all, always got bought them when I was a kid and never wore them, used to go barefoot. OH bought me some for xmas though from The White Company along with a dressing gown a couple of years ago and since then I love them! So I'm a slipper convert. Or rather, a "baffie" convert, as they are called in this house as DH is Scottish
I was given a cot mobile today from a lady who just left work to spend more time at home with her LO, anyway turns out it's from the Zeddy & Parsnip range from mamas and papas which is what we have got our wallpaper etc from! Yey!0 -

He was unbearable today until it arrived, as the courier was meant to be bringing it before 12 and it didnt come until gone 2pm. I dont think I am gonna get much sense out of him for a while!!

I nearly forgot about my anti D today so dad ran me in for the appointment but waited out side(ICU is right at maternity) what a nightmare. First they were running late again then she called both my names wrong so obviously i didn't get up until i realized it was my file she had. She gave me into bother for not having another set of bloods done since the last ones so i explained about the CMW not wanting to know me as i'm high risk, her reply was uck them. Then she asked for urine sample so i explained about sis and gran, so she wrote it in my notes etc and still gave me a lecture about the sample. I asked about the GTT that my notes say i have to get(and the MW said too) and she scored it out saying you only get that if your urine sample makes it necessary
!!!!!!.
I asked if i would get to see the consultant to discuss the section when i returned and she told me i was down as VBAC:mad: and blamed me for being confused. Felt like grabing the phone and calling OH to prove what he said before. Then she listened to the FHR and it was high(surprise so was mine by this lol) I'm measuring small too but did in last 2 pregnancies so i wasn't concerned, but she sent me for a scan anyway. All was well at the scan bubs was kicking lick mad, this boy dose not like anything near his bump lol. then they monitored babys HR for 20 min and the doc was happy especially when we chatted about things.
So weazel thanks for your help before but apparently it is not needed(fingers crossed) Back for a scan in 2 weeks and more bloods:eek:

Hiya everyone
I've not long got home and am pleased to announce I'm on TEAM PINK!!
I also found out I have a low lying placenta so I've been booked in for another scan at 34 weeks.
When I went to see the consultant I saw a midwife first who happened to be a friend of DH's family and she has refered me to the maternity physio for my SPD (last time I saw a normal physio which was a waste of time lol)
The consultant told me because of the SPD I'm not allowed to pick DD up so I don't know how I'm supposed to sit her in her booster chair or put her in her cot  She'll have to stay up until DH comes home at 1.30am :rotfl:

We had that, but it is really hard:o We haven't actually got a Wii anymore as it barely got used!
We do have two PS3's though....Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Yay Moosmummy congrats on team pink:)
Is that your dd in the pic, how old is she? Is she able to eat somewhere else, maybe just sit her on the floor and can she climb into her cot herself? Failing that just pick her up anyway;)Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
