I've had the letter about the jab but don't know what to do. I'll speak to my mw on Thurs but no doubt she'll tell me to have it.

Hi Jenny been hoping you would pop on just wanted to ask if you dont mind did you have your lo in the carmen suite !! Its only thats where they have booked me into today so was wondering earlier. Hope you get some time alone with your lo soon and give her a big hug from me xxx

Hi Lou, still planning to post my BS at some point but just haven't had the time yet. I did have LO in the Carmen Suite but not in the room with the pools, when I got there they were already in use however I told them I didn't want to go to the normal delivery ward so they let me stay in the room they usually use to assess people but which is fully equipped for birth and with its own shower room and bed for OH so still much nicer than the delivery ward. Then you get to stay in Carmen after the birth which is much quieter than the normal ward. All the midwives in Carmen were lovely so I would really recommend it. Yay you on being well enough to get booked in :j

Your body your decision:D bliming good you got a call though i had to ask as it is only week 2 of innoculations here in wales

Gill - you are supposed to get a letter / or a call but the system in wales has been messed up. I went in to ask for one as i am tri 3 so didnt want to wait to have it untill the end of the initial batch which runs up to christmas.

Aww - hope you feel better soon - keep us informed sweetie, i was nearly having kittens with worry untill you came on last night :grouphug:

Thanks for the pillow tip jha, slept much better till I got rudely awoken by heartburn :(

You could try propping yourself up a bit on your left side too to help with the heartburn. I lay on my left side propped up on pillows with a pillow under my bump and one between my knees HTH
  • Aww PP so sorry to hear you've been sick again. Hope they can help at the hospital and for a bit longer this time (((hugs)))

Forgot to say yesterday MoosMummy congrats on team pink! And your DD is so cute! Love the hair!!
  • I'm sorry PP, that's rubbish. Hope they sort it soon.

Oh no PP, hope you get better soon xx

Is the swine flu jab only being rolled our in Wales atm? I've not heard anything about it,except for on the news.

JHA hope appointments go well today :)

SJ I'm so jealous of your nice IL's!! Can't fault my family an inch, there's nothing they wouldn't do for us, but OH's family are a different story. Woke up to an email with their flight details for coming back to the UK next year - they're coming sporadically over Xmas then going away again in Feb til May :T = no MIL and husband at birth or even til bubs is a couple of months old :j I'm over the moon though :D Promise that's the end of my IL family rant must be boring you all to tears, just nobody to rant to in RL, only so much whinging OH can take :o

Can someone confirm that the HIPG form's meant to be sorted at 25 week midwife appointment? (going to write it down in my diary so I don't forget to ask :D)

Woke up with a really severe pain in my pelvis today, like it's all bruised?? Feel like an old lady hobbling round the house, bad back, sciatic pain and now pelvic pain, I must be a delight to look at :rotfl: Got to pop out and buy a new baby present today though for someone OH manages, his wife had a baby boy the other day, OH knows jobs like this make me happy :D
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j
