ARGH wrote a massive reply and lost it!!!!
I did think maybe i was being a sensitiv flower but DH read it when he got in and went mad.
Basics of it are
1. im too small for my weeks and i should be worried
2. contact my m/w and demand to be seen immediately
3. given that we lost our first, i should be "more conscious and aware of these things if you want to avoid losing another"
4. just look like ive had a big lunch, and am i sure im pregnant
5. she's disappointed for me that its not a girl because apparently I'll "struggle with a boy"
Sorry I didnt reply last night, I was just too :eek::( over it, so had hugs with the puppy till DH got home....
But thanks to everyone for caring, and now I've got more facebook friends to replace her with :A
Tempted to email her and tell her what I think of that message, and I had to stop DH from doing that last night. Hardly slept for being paranoid about size, everything she's written etc, till eventually I settled on the fact that she's noone, knows nothing, and is nothing to me..... and then I fell asleep, but Im mad she interrupted my night....
So deep breath.....:D "smile and carry on" xx
Didn't get on yesterday, I'm outraged on your behalf! she sounds like a right b!tch to me.
My best friend was my bridesmaid at 7 months and wore a normal (not really loose style) monsoon dress in just a size bigger than her usual one, she had such a lovely neat bump everyone was jealous. Of course she gave birth to a gorgeous healthy boy!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Speedy-up labour vibes for MJS and Moos. Sounds promising for both of you!
Gah, I could kick OH up the bum if he wasn't at work. After panicing that we haven't really got anything the other night, he now thinks we should wait and see what his friends who have offered us stuff give us. One of them though, her boy is 12, so I'm a bit concerned that it's been in her loft for about 10-11 years so goodness knows what state it's in. I'm not fussy about 2nd hand, but there's a difference between a couple of years and over 10 in terms of safety and disintegration.
Does anyone elses OH alternate between panic and apathy regarding baby stuff?

Had terrible acid/heartburn last night even with the medicines was sick twice ,remind me again how nice it is to be pregnant ??
Seeing the midwife today hoping she will give me sweep I know I am not due till Friday but am in agongy with my arms ,shoulder and feet and might even turn the waterworks onjust worried that I am going to be too exhausted and in too much pain to start with before I even go into labour
I have turned into a grumpy old woman in less than 2 weeks :mad:0 -
Jopsey - I'm really finding the acid/heartburn hard too - in fact it keeps making me have coughing fits, and I had to run upstairs a minute ago to be sick... (I feel like my new mantra is; 'just two more weeks, two more weeks...')
Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

I feel a bit pants this morning, late night (for me these days) last night, and a big meal which I actually enjoyed but am now v bloated. Have taken some windeeze so hopefully it will clear on the way to my meeting! Also have a very dry cracked bottom lip that keeps bleeding
Still, could be much worse, shouldn't complain. Meant to be working from home before the meeting but have only managed to send a couple of emails.
Better go and catch the train, labour vibes to all who want/need them and I'll catch up later xxMum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
