Congrats Kindof. Hope Elliot is better soon.
Aw Fishcake, know what you mean I had drip with DD. It isn't as bad as you expect though, could still move around a bit. Fingers crossed it isn't needed though

Big get well vibes to baby Elliot, hugs to kindof and her family.

Saz - how strange about Matalan just doing the random costumes!?!

Fishcake - Don't feel bad about possible induction, honestly, I know quite a few people who have been induced (including me) and at the end of the day the only thing that really matters is that your baby arrives into the outside world safely!!
I was induced with Ds1 (Synto drip) and 9yrs later, it makes no difference now. He is a happy lively, lovely lad and I couldn't care less how he was born, i'm just glad he is my gorgeous eldest son:) Fingers crossed you do start off naturally as I know that is what you would prefer, but just remember induction is not the end of the world:D

ETA - K's jabs were fine, he gave a little cry but only briefly.

    Mel x
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.
  • Best wishes to Elliott
Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:
  • Midwife has been and gone, absolutely nothing is cooking. But all is happy and healthy. She has written in my notes that I want to try all my other options before im on a drip so hopefully that will make things a bit better.

Congrats to Som, I love the name you've chosen.

Lots of Get Well Soon Vibes for Elliot and massive hugs for Kindof.

    Labour vibes for Fishcake.

Barksavingmad I was diagnosed with an irritable uterus at 29 weeks and I'm still here at 38 weeks so try not to worry about it. I found this website quite informative http://www.irritable-uterus.com/ .

I went for my scan on friday and Izzy is now head down :j I can really feel that she is now lol the bottom of my bump is so sore and I'm constantly running to the loo :o. More news from me is that I went to Slimming World last night and lost 2.5lbs and got my 2 stone award :T how I managed that I'll never know but I am feeling ridiculously pleased with myself so thought I'd share it with all of you :rotfl:.

Fishcake I really hope you get the birth you want, when I was in labour with DD i had to be monitored the whole time because her heartrate was dipping with each contraction, this meant I was stuck on the bed because they were having problems keeping the "signal" so when they found it I wasn't allowed to move . That's why this time I'm going to the Grange in Petersfield, they don't have the equipment for that sort of monitoring, they only have dopplers ;).

Appropriate vibes for anyone I've missed,

    xxx

I hope she is able to get some sleep whilst she has the chance and that little Elliot gets well soon :(
