Congrats Som, looking forward to reading your birth story :) & seeing pics of course :D

FR hope things are moving quickly for you, x

Mel hope K's jabs go well :)

Congrats Mermaid, glad all is well :D

Getting v antsy about this whole induction business now, think the thing that's annoying me most is the way they said 'you'll come in Sunday if there's a bed', bit of a how long's a piece of string situation :( Also beginning to wonder if my tumour will have any effect on labour/induction, as there's an issue with the function of my pituitary gland, which is the gland that secretes the hormones that start labour...and now I have nobody to ask til I'm in hospital :(
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j

congrats to Som and get well vibes to baby Elliot

I am going to collect my freecycle steriliser today :)

Did anyone else have a mad compulsion to clear stuff out at about my stage (11+4)? DH thinks its funny as I am getting rid of stuff that's not at all making space for the baby...apparently his book tells him I may be like this!!

  • Since I went to bed about 11am last night I have had one twinge, and even that I think I may have made up IYSWIM.
Waiting now for midwife to come out, do you think she'll want to do an internal exam or do they just do the normal checks and leave that joy till tomorrow?
If she does I hope I can have a cheeky sweep to kick things off.
I also need to ask her if I can refuse the drip if I do go in and ask for less invasive things to be tried first as I can't stand the thought of being tied to a bed with a bag of chemicals all day. Surely if I'm in the hospital enviournment they can give me an extra two hours and a few other options before running in with the hardcore stuff.
I'm soooooo fed up and really dissapointed with myself!
    x x xx

Morning ladies - forgive me for gatecrashing.

I'm popping over from the parent thread to invite you to a special group, lol.
The Fairy Exchange - a group for the lovely ladies and gents from the parent thread and the pregnancy thread to offer items for sale, swap or give away :)

The group is set as private, so your friends won't see you have joined if your still keeping your pregnancy a secret. ETA: Please can you PM me your real name when you request to join. Thanks!

Please help the fairies to spread their magic :)
