OH is under the strictest of instructions that if I poop in labour, he has to take it the grave. He's not even allowed to tell the cats.
Ditto I also said to him if I poo and dont realise (my mate only knew she had cos she caught sight of some poo on MW glove) that he isnt even allowed to tell me, but if I have a waterbirth then I think I will notice a net being thre lolDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

Lo, yeah, I told OH about the net and I think I totally traumatised him.
Kindof, how's things this morning? I'm guessing much the same cos you're still here. In the nicest possible way, I hope you !!!!!! off today. You overdue ladies have soooo much patience!

Morning all
Working from home today cos scan is at lunchtime, I'm really excited now.
I'm still in my PJs though, really need to get up and dressed!
Just watched that 'Growing Babies: war in the womb' BBC4 documentary, has anyone else watched it and what did you think? I think they portrayed it all in quite a negative way until the end, although it was v interesting especially the bits about pre-eclampsia and imprinted genes (although still not really sure what they are?!)0 -
Congrats guinea
Hope scan goes well Pru.
Dr gave me cream for coldsores :T they're already clearing up quite a bit after only 2 apps yay!! Slept through most of night too, last few had been woken up by the itching so that was lovely.0 -
Morning everyone.
No posts from Gym or Som yet = hopefully that may mean that there's something going on? Just in case it doesn't, I'm sending labour vibes for Kindof, Gym and Som (and Fishcake, if you want them?)Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

:rotfl:
Hmm, Baby Elliot, please get out for mummy! Stop taunting her with pains!
And the same goes for Gym and Som's babys!
Good luck at the scan today DP0 -
Guinea - yeay for baby finally arriving
welldone and big honking congrats xXx looking forward to more details.
mermaid - yeay for coldsores already clearing up.
DP - yeay for scan todayOh and PJs at that time is totally fine dont worry hehe. Didnt see that show wonder if its worth taracking down to watch.
bexta - its not patience I can assure you, am damn well fed up now! Trying not to think about the poo thing...eewww!
jopsey - totally sympathise about everything being so hard, was just saying to OH that I wish I'd fin work later cos seem to have spent so much time sitting about bored, but then I remember how hard work was even tho I was only doing 3/4 days at the end!
xmas - I suppose am lucky that OH is so fab at doing house work, so I dont need to do much. The only thing thats annoying here is the house is so tiny its a lil cluttered with all baby stuff!
BSM - everyone took the mickey out of us cos we did so much early on, but as I was 30 weeks at Xmas we wanted to get it outta the way and I was worried wouldnt be up to it later, so glad we did now.
Kindof - eek at the rubbish nights sleep again, never could watch Mighty Boosh far too weird!
Well still ended up reading for a while before managing to get to sleep last night even tho I was so exhausted, but wasnt long after 11pm which is quite early for me! OH slept on the sofa for the first time cos he was feeling bad for me and said I needed my sleep now, bless. Was very odd!! Did sleep better tho. Still woke up plenty but was able to get back off much easier with out the snoring and fidgeting and was great cos the sheets actually stayed on the bed! (OH is such a fidget). The other nice thing was cos I had more space turning over was much easier, and the pain I normally get in lower abdomen from muscle strain doing it also better
Well supposed to be seeing MW for sweep and check up at 12.45, tho I have to phone an hour before to see how behind she is running, if she is running late she said save me waiting she'd prob make me her first appt after lunch so 3pm. Looking forward to finding out if anything is progressing or if its all been in my head! Had a few more pains, but been to the loo lots so not sure if thats tummy!
Gotta fit food shop in today at some point too! If appt is at 3 will go before if not will have to be after and hope its not an issue. Also prob gonna get my Ipod touch today
So hoping and praying that this sweep does the trick if I have it, anyone know how long they usually take if they are effective! Am fed up now B'day has been and gone, never thought Id be a year older when bubs arrived. Am now 8 days over, but on the bright side baby girl will get her very own birthday and not have to share with any family as next one is Dad on 20th and worse case I'll have been induced by then!Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Fingers crossed for your sweep som
My OH is fab when he is here but he is only here 3 nights out of 9 and he has to do his community service for one of those days so i barely get to see him at all. God knows how i managed to get pregnant first try lol :-) x:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
Haha EA I actually choked on my tea reading that!! How are you, recovering ok? How's Lily doing? Did you manage to sleep last night?
Glad you managed to get something for your cold sores MermaidMust be such a relief!
Congrats Guinea, can't wait for more details
Good luck at the scan DP, x
Glad you managed more sleep last night Som, bless your OH :A Hope you get good news at the MW
Kindof I hope you're back in bed! Not sure how you're coping being awake so much at the moment.
BSM don't worry too much about the house, I'm sure it'll all fall into place, x
Jopsey did you have your wine? I've had the odd drink throughout, very tempted when we were out recently to have a cocktail but OH talked me out of itIs it really sad that I'm dying to have a pina colada, they're sooo my craving at the moment!!
Lol I told OH to pack a sieve in his bag so he can take on the job of poo fishing, he was disgusted :rotfl:
Just sat on my bum today doing nothing much - another one of our neighbours have just put their house up for sale, we think there's a conspiracy going on - there's only like 10 hours on our little road and 2 are now up for sale, and one has just sold, hmm. It'll be interesting to see what happens though as we've been considering selling and debating when's best, so hopefully they'll do well
Nothing happening baby wise here - he's obviously just not fussed. I don't mind too much really, I had a few pains last night and started to really panic telling OH I wasn't ready yet & I need a few more daysBaby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0
