Aww Kindof I'm sure he'll arrive when he's good and ready - I think getting frustrated probably doesn't help and being so tired too, just do your best to chill out, get yourself some chamomile tea or similar, get the duvet and a hot water bottle, sit on the sofa with a book or something, hopefully you'll bore yourself to sleep!
I've just had an email from a friend saying baby is obviously as chilled out as me, doesn't ever know the time or the date and will probably spend his life waiting for daddy to tell him where to be and when just like I do, made me laugh
House thing is weird, got me looking at new houses though, ahh I'd love to move, there are some lovely houses around, wish I could win the lottery!Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
Oooo more cyst talk;) How big is yours???
Mine is obviously in the way of bean as they can't see him so my thoughts are if they decide not to remove it I may have to have a C-section.
Originally on the ultrasound dating scan they said it was something like 6cms X 5cms X 7cms but I had an MRI and its 2cms smaller and benign.
Where do you ladies recommend shopping for bras, as mine as starting to feel a bit tight around the back???
Congrats Guinea :T:T:j:)Opinions are like ar*eholes - everybody has one!!!!0 -
Yorky I'm nicking Som's post re bra's:
"will depend on your size but matalan do bras 2 for £10, peacocks are £5 and Tesco v plain but only £4 tend to be smaller sizes tho so would try them to be sure."
I've only bothered getting a couple of normal new underwired in new sizes, and got them from Asda for £4 - tres sexy!Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -

If it is just the back that is tight but the cups are ok I'd get some of those extender things.. most of the places selling threads and ribbons will have them in stock!!
I got my bras from bravissimo and 2 from M&S.. the M&S ones are bit of an odd shape but the royale ones from Bravissimo are fabulous.. comfy and everything!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Well just been reading up on sweeps and feeling a bit more hopeful now
Seems there more effective when your overdue at least a week and most seem to go in 48hrs if they do work. Im hoping with the few nigles that I have had I will have a favourable cervix and this will work soonish
Probably getting my hopes up but lots of posters on various forums have said if you relax as much as poss during then there not even uncomfy, so thats what am hoping for.

Serial lurker here! I'm just over 9 weeks gone with my 3rd, so will be joining here after my scan...
anyway Som, with my second i had a sweep done when i was 6 days overdue and at the time the midwife said i was 2cm dilated, this was early evening it was done and i woke at 1am that night with pains and my son was born at 4:20am, this is compared to my first when i had to have an induction and a 12 hr labour. I didn't find it that uncomfortable and i was very nervous and found the whole thing a bit strange having it done in my bedroom lol
Hope that boosts your hopes a bit, good luck it gets things going x29 year old SAHM to two boys 13 & 5 and a little pink princess >1Wins: £500 for my sons school + goody bag / Cushelle Koala / can of Spam / Crunchy nut mug / £250!! / Blu-ray Home cinema system / mascara / nail varnish / Disney Jnr cinema ticks / Turbo Tango / £10 Asda Voucher0 -
Kindof you will find it really hard to sleep properly try having as many cat knaps as you can we only sleep in 1/2hr cycles anyway through the night so as long as you can get your head down for a full 1/2hr at a time you will be getting some rest.
Som irecon if you are already getting some pains the sweep will be the kick start that you need :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -

Ive managed to sleep from about 8 till half 11 some in bed and some on sofa, just woke up go to loo and am nearly asleep again typing this, so might nod off again lol

Kindof - I think it's natural for us to have last minute panics just before; it's sort of nature's way of making sure we are concientious and looking out for baby's best interests - if we weren't worried, we would be more likely to be bad parents if you follow me? Don't worry, you're going to be brilliant!
