I thought it was too!! Have been drinking it instead of coke... oh well :)

got my dating scan through yesterday :T on Friday 27th at 3... am contemplating whether to take DD out of school as she'll ony miss half hour, obviously 22wk scan would be more interesting but can't guarantee it will be at such a good time to take her out... plus she misses a lot of school due to her own hospital appointments - she has to go to London every couple of months which writes off the whole school day

How old is your DD, Mermaid? They are not keen on children accompanying you to scans, I guess just in case there is bad news. At my hospital they don't allow them in the scanning room so might be worth checking if there are any restrictions at yours.

I feel like poo this morning. Woke up at 5:30 feeling sick with stomach pains, managed to dose back off but still feel yucky. Hopefully this is a sign of good things, but at 6 days overdue I'm getting less hopeful.

In good news, one of the wives from my husband's shift who was due on Haloween finally had her baby boy yesterday....yippee :j

  • So sorry to hear about your sister 32B, big hugs xxxxxx

My midwife asked if I was going to take her to any so am guessing ok, but may be worth checking... have to call to cancel the nucal (SP?) scan anyway. She's 5, v excited about baby but not sure how interested she'll be in ultrasound as she has them herself all the time lol
  • Hi GISI, I just saw ur post. Sorry ur not well, hopefully it is a sign of things though!! Oddly, I feel rubbish this morning too. Got a gippy tummy, got a headache on right side of my head and worse bit is a sicky type feeling which seems to be coming from just at the top of my bump, almost above it but below my bbs IYSWIM. God know what all this means but I want it to go away!! xx

  • OH just got back from his driving lesson (my best friends a driving instructor) and he'd been given a gift bag of individually wrapped pressies and told we had to open them tonight.

The gift tag said 'Pink is for girls, blues for boys' and inside were some polka dot fluffy socks for my labour bag, vitamin e facial spritz, lavender healing gel, tissues, cooling wet wipes, fizzy sour sweets and for OH paracetamol, mint humbugs and niquitin minis so he doesnt have to go out for a smoke! :j Everything had little tags on too to give a clue before you opened them, and a card telling us that we'll be lovely parents :o Ive just rang them both to say thank you as its so nice to be treated to a little something as everything seems to be 'baby, baby, baby' at the minute.

Ah, I feel all teary now :o

Aww that is so sweet! I would have cried loads if someone had done that for me! You have a great friend there! :D

Does anyone know if we're still doing that secret santa thing? :) x

Yes I don't see why not! Think we were to swap addresses directly with the person we were paired up with.

I multiquoted more but it only lets you do three at a time. I hate that!

Mrs I - big get well vibes for your DS! :A

On the Otley subject, I used to live in Ilkley which is not far from there! Very nice it was but very cliquey!

Well I am sore today, no idea why, down below, feels like I'm bruised / saddle sore. And no reason for that as I've slept on my own the last few nights as DH has been working! I'm really uncomfy sat down. Anyone else get this or am I just weird?!

GISI and Booboo might be something if you are feeling funny today! And I reckon at 6 days overdue every day is more likely to be "the day" than the day before! Come on babies, what are you waiting for!! :p

I had the weirdest dream of my pg so far last night, there was htis light shining on my bump and I could see in it! See the baby and all these cords and stuff, then my bump opened up, wasn't painful or anything just very bizzare and my baby just kind of fell out with al this blood and guts! Then I woke up. Strange!
