Got a stupid query here; I have previously posted on the 'less than 12 weeks' thread; Has anyone been pregnant and had a belly piercing? I know I will need to take this out, as I have heard you can get horrible stretch marks from keeping it in, has anyone removed theirs and it healed fine? I am keeping mine in at the mo while my belly hasnt really changed, I just hate the idea of having a big hole left there, as I am convinced I have had it so long that it will leave a big hole and not heal!!
Also, told OH about the tradition of buying an eternity ring following the birth of his first child, I even traced the original comment (took ages not good at searching for stuff!) so we shall see what happens now!!! Kinda doubt I will get a ring though! But it would be nice!0 -

I kept my belly bar in with my first child and plan to with the sencond. I just buy these and leave them in: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1-X-MATERNITY-PREGNANCY-BELLY-NAVEL-BAR-CLEAR_W0QQitemZ350320779339QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Jewellery_Watches_CostumeJewellery_CA?hash=item5190bee04b
My belly looked fine when baby grew then popped out and shrank back down.
You can also leave them in for the scans tooWhat's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -
kitkat - when you say it'll leave a big hole and not heal, are you refering to it stretching? I've had mine 12 years now and have a big 'ol tummy atm but its fine. I have no belly button atm (it hasn't popped out just flattened!) and mine has moved but looks like it will be ok. I'll let ya know what its like after Ive given birth but have frequently not had a bar in it and still been alright when have wanted to put something back in it.

I had my belly button pierced but just took it out with DD as it got uncomfy and I kept not getting round to getting the stretchy rubber bar thingy. Mine looks quite weird now, my belly button never popped with DD but it is shallower and hence the holes are both on the outside iyswim. It's weird, like my belly button moved!
Who knows what will happen after this bubba's born, maybe it will move back

My Ipod is 16GB, it was £220 when i bought it in Nov 08, so would be much cheaper nowBest thing about it is that it has a built in speaker, so i dont need the headphones or speakers when im in the bath
I just got a new Ipod appIts called 'Baby Diary' its something to do with tess daley. But it covers the first3 trimesters and 6 months after baby is born. And its freee
So if you have an iphone or ipod touch, download it0 -
Thanks for your replies, maybe I will try to keep it in, and if it gets uncomfortable remove it then. I had it done as I didn't like my belly button (seems boring somehow!!) so I kinda dont wana take it out!
I have got one of those flexible bars, and find that comfy, do prefer the look of the metal ones tho but this is good for now!!
Nikkit love the pic of your little man! sooo cute!!0
