Any one seen any bargains on safety gates lately? Mum's on about getting on now to keep the dog at bay. Normal size doorways for now...

Once the work on M&D's house is done, they'll have a double size doorway which we'll need a gate on. Are all extra width gates the type that need fixing to the doorway? Can see my dad having a fit if we drill into his new woodwork! :p

Just a quick one - I also got a mail to refer people for Consumer Pulse so those that missed out on Sami's link (think it was Sami), PM me and I'll refer you. It says similar age and I'm 33 if that makes any differnce!!

'You need to tell us their name, email address (so that we can contact them) and also the age group that they fall into.'

Jam - Carla and Krystal both missed out if you don't mind would you save them a spot?
Although it said similar age when I went through the form the age brackets went from something like 18 - 50 xx

Elle large door ways always need fixings in the wall :o My mum got her gate in the asda baby event and MIL got the swish 2 steps up version off ebay for only £5 more than mum paid both are lindam easy fit (no drilling required)
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

 You saying that reminded me Mum actually had a travel cot (probably as old as me) which she got third-hand from a friend to use as a playpen (and bought a new travel cot for sleeping). Would she be alright with a playpen and no safety gate to protect Rhys from the dog at least, then just ordinary safety gate at the top of the stairs? Won't be able to have one on the bottom of the stairs - having some fancy big wide step thing apparently.

Just had a nightmare trip home from the town... Got to the bus stop and there were 4 pushchairs in front of me so I had to wait for the next bus, which is pushing it at the best of times... But the driver left the stand 5mins late... And proceeded to keep letting people on despite the fact it was rammed... Ended up practically running to the school to fetch the girls... Was 10mins late in the end... All through it I had awful period pain, was convinced it was going to start on the way to the school... But nothing... And it's eased up a bit now...

Yeah that would work for as long as he was willing to be put in it to play... You only need the gates to keep them from areas that aren't safe... If she's willing to watch him like a hawk and close doors behind her then she could probably get away with not having any downstairs...

Hi 3, are you having a nice birthday?

Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
