It's just 15yo that is worrying me. I think she needs a mother figure more than any of them, but she's also the one that wants it least. A couple who I thought may be problems are being good. I just can't sit 15yo down for any long period, although when it does happen, she really enjoys it.

She has a dental appointment tomorrow, so i'm thinking of not sending her back to school after, just so I can pin her down and spend some time with her and hopefully chat. If I let her have half a day off school, she may like it and put her in a good mood. I don't want to get in trouble though, although it's only half a day.

.. Elle - I know the feeling. Jack seemed to big for Newborn and too small for 0-3 months and now it looks like he's skipped 0-3 and gone into 3-6 :(

Rhys skipped newborn :) Straight from 9lb to 15lb stuff!

Must get OH to go in our loft tonight. The gorgeous boots from M&S are in the 3-6mth vac bag up there. I read they come up small and I don't want to miss a single chance for Rhys to wear them! :o

Just been listing things on local eBay. Can't add the pics though cos they're on OH's PC and he won't tell me the password cos he thinks I'll look at his emails and see the order confirmations for my Christmas presents! I might.. accidentially.. but that's beside the point! :rotfl:

MOTM, that is nothing compared to the songs of encouragement we used to sing in my rowdy youth :p
  • MOTM - School don't need to know she is skipping - do they need to know how long the appointment is ;) I remember 15 not being much fun at all - don't take it personally if she doesn't want to talk much!

Really pleased to hear your news AM. Hope you'll be very happy with the boys in your new home xx

Been asking the priest for weeks now for a reference for James secondary school application. We're not Catholic but he's been in a Catholic primary and naturally wants to go to the Catholic secondary school with his mates and Joshua already goes there.

James asked him again yesterday when he was in school doing a mass, but he just said he's been too busy. I've written a letter this morning explaining school must have the reference by the 16th and enclosed a stamped addressed envelope, in the hope he can manage to get it done.

James is back under CAMHS for his mental health problems, and I'm so worried in case he does't get into the Catholic secondary school. Without the reference, he's a in a much lower admissions category. I think it would really affect him badly if he doesn't get in. Got myself a bit chewed over it :o
