  • Afternoon all - just reporting in back from Rhymetime (and the shops of course :) ) Izzy fell asleep on the way there, and the way back again, so she is still in the buggy. I was hoping for a nap this afternoon, but if I lie down now she will wake up (plus there are no sheets on the bed, so I need to make it first!), so must go get some stuff done. Tomorrow will be nap day if I get my way!

I haven't read back, but just spotted AM's good news being quoted above - that's fab for you. How small is the village? If there is a church/community centre then there will probably be playgroups and things. Is there a village shop/primary school? What are the busses like? I'm sure you will be better off there than where you are the moment anyway :)

^Why I don't use freecycle (plus if it's salable sell it)
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

MOTM - just be yourself and remember that she must be interested if she has asked to meet you...

asda shopping today... want to get loads as although i can walk there every other day (bout 10 mins) i dont want to be going close to christmas as it will be a nightmare. i know i can order online but i must admit i love walking round to see if there are any bargains.

Yes, that's true. She has been talking about me. Not that I haven't asked after her, I mean, she is very nice and I have eyes :rotfl:

You're right, you do not want to be in the shops too near to Christmas. We have a very few little bits to get food wise, which I shall get before say the 15th, to leave 10 days to remember any emergencies that 16yo can maybe get from her shop :T

Hmmm but I feel icky :(

Been sorting clothes.. All sad now cos Rhys has grown out of so much and barely got any wear out of some of it! If anyone needs anything 7.5-11lb, just shout before I eBay it (fairy post is less hassle!).

Elle - I know the feeling. Jack seemed to big for Newborn and too small for 0-3 months and now it looks like he's skipped 0-3 and gone into 3-6 :(

Had a lovely lunch which was free as my friend paid :money:and she gave me a lovely frame with 4 canvas on which had handpainted monkeys on. Her SIL made it and it is lovely!

waiting for OH to go out then gonna go post office (EM, I promise to post today!) and then ASDA for milk. Then I'm gonna come home and do some housework and if Jack's asleep I might venture up the loft
If I'm not on later it's cause I've been attacked by killer wasps in my loft or I fell off the ladder

P.S - I know the wasps will be dead a.) cos the nest was destroyed and b.) cos it's so cold but you never know!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

Don't start! The girls have already told me i'm going to have to sing to her and have started suggesting songs. Sexy Chick by David Guetta/Akon and Taylor Swift's love story are the favourites. 15yo suggested She Wolf by Shakira, but 15yo is a funny one
Sorry to just butt in like this but OMG the council just rang and have offered me a 2 bed flat! :j
It's temporary in a little village but OMG!
I'm scared but it's only half hour away and it's about 20 mins from my gay uncle who I adore!

:T Hope it's what you want and more :T
