STOPTOBER CHALLANGE ... here we go !!0 -
Morning all
Rhys last had a bottle at 11.30pm last night. He stayed up "playing" until 2.30am (that's not as bad as it sounds, I wasn't stressed with it, still wide awake myself) but didn't want anything else - in fact looked like he'd been sucking lemons when I offered him boob! He's still asleep now.. Well, I think he's faking it, cos if I go in and whisper his name, he smiles, turns to face the other way and goes to "sleep" again
Ah well, I've had a hot cuppa and sorted the washing out and now caught up on here
Physio at 1.30pm so I need to tidy and hoover and find the card for the physio assistant - she's retiring at Christmas so we won't see her again.. I was thinking that now I'll only thank the posts that make me laugh, are directed to me, answer a question thats useful to me or has cute baby photos.
That's what I do0 -
completely unnecessary rant quite likely to be entirely hormonal:
My neighbour has mice and they set off her burglar alarm and it wakes my baby GAH! (she is actually very nice and I don't want to feel GAH about this...)
I am scared of my relationship with my new line manager having gone all sour over monies and now feel intimidated about asking for anything- GAH!
Fergus slept through the night for 2 months from 2 months old. DH and I decided he was a good sleeper and I got pregnant. Having secured himself a little brother and lifetime playmate, Fergus promptly stopped the sleeping through with a vengeance for the 5 months of my pregnancy-GAH! (not his fault, but GAH!)
Kester the fetus is barely noticeable in the day, but likes to play football at night with my ovaries and trampolines on my oesophagus until acid comes up. GAH. (also not his fault but GAH!)
DH is very generous as are my mum and dad. This means we don't really reward my lovely mum and dad for all they do, but land up killing the fatted calf on a regular basis for my IL's who I feel really quite unloved by. GAH!
I have to do labour again soon and I still remember bits of it. Combination of Eeeep:eek: and GAH!
Oh and lots of other silly non important things too. GAH GAH GAH!as you were...

Morning all
Busy at work, read some thread last night and first thing this morning though.
Thanks Ladybird, not sorted tax code yet as haven't had time to phone the tax office, will do today though, not sure it will make much of a difference but will want to know where I stand going forwards etc. Also intend to write to local tax office complaining about their making a tax code change without notifying me or giving a reason, which has led to this huge arrears.
Elijah went through til 4.50 last night which I guess is an improvement, although I then spent 30 mins settling him and then 10 mins letting him cry before he slept againthen he didn't want to get up in the morning because he was too tired, the cheek.
I don't thank everyone, I thank posts that I especially like, or are helpful, or have cute pics, or are responding to me
Back to work!0 -
awww weezl, hugs hun
You know the labour will be worth it in the end, and that fergus will eventually go back to sleeping, and you wont have to worry about work again for a little while soon, and your ILs are not as important as your OH and your kid(s) and you are a wonderful person
I know hormones are rife at the minute and you feel like it is all on top of you, but there is an end to it all, and the struggle is just getting to htat endThe two best things I have done with my life

morning all!
havent caught up yet, going back to do that after i've posted this, but ebay question...
i've listed the jumperoo as pick up only but have had a large box donated so want to change it so i can get more :money:, plus the currently winning bidder has no feedback so i'm not very happy about it!! i cant find a way to add postage on, so shall i cancel it and relist it with postage? i'm thinking i'll get more plus i'll save having to wait in for a weirdo to come and get it, its at £26 at the moment with 10 hours to go but has 31 watchers?Mummy to

ps. I have no idea how anyone can get jiggy in your average carHi Krystal, i read your orginal post last night about posts being acknowledged. After everything that happened the other day, I'm now not sure what to do about thanking posts? Sometimes I log on and read 5/6 pages and don't thank any, now I feel like I need to thank every post I read in case people feel ignored!! ( Not meaning you btw, its just that you've mentioned it!). When I'm on I thank every post when I'm actively reading so I know where I'm up to but tbh I get bored of thanking.
I was thinking that now I'll only thank the posts that make me laugh, are directed to me, answer a question thats useful to me or has cute baby photos.
I don't have facebook so can only see photos posted on the board, I'm missing lots of cute pics
i normally thank all the posts i read, if i dont its cos sometimes when the page refreshes the thanks button disappearsi do it for two reasons, firstly we are all busy ladies and its lovely that we take time to chat to each other and you ladies are my lifeline!! and secondly it helps me remember where i read up to if i'm not actively posting, just reading
hugs for your gah's and eee's weezl :grouphug: it will all be ok!! is fergie in his own room? if he is still in your room will you have the fresh one in your room as well?Mummy to

DD got a real bargain tonight - I'd forgotten to get her an advent calendar, it cost a whole £1! DD is desparate to count down to a party and Christmas.
All we're getting asked every day is "Party, two sleeps?" she's excited about the dress she has to wear and the opportunity to dance her heart out.
MDW
That dress is beautiful- I'm not surprised DD's excited!
AM- big hugs and hope you can get some ABs to sort you out. Tonsilitis is horrid, horrid, horrid.
Weezl- I think you are entitled to a few GAHs! I can't imagine how exhausting night waking plus pregnancy must be.
Well I've finally ordered a Mei Tai. I went for this one from Etsy in the end http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=22354820 and it only cost £34 delivered so I am really pleased. I think Henry will love it! I know Mummy will.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
with great difficulty

hugs for your gah's and eee's weezl :grouphug: it will all be ok!! is fergie in his own room? if he is still in your room will you have the fresh one in your room as well?she wished us all well but has decided to spend more time with Liam rather than on here. I hope she'll pop back, it would be nice
