  • Thanks em, sami, bailey, 3 (and anyone else I missed)

I am a bit confuzzled, surely if you add the powder to cold water then it doesn't dissolve the same?

Benjamin is happy to drink it room temp, but then again it usually comes from a carton!! Also, I thought the powder needed to be added when the water is hot because the powder isn't sterile??
Sorry - I am a complete formula feeding novice!! There is no way I am going back to expressing though, not when the babba shares my food most of the time!!

My gut feeling is to make the milk and send it to CM to put in her fridge, for a quick warm before he has it. I guess I should just go with that!!

  • i've never had a problem with cold water and mixing powder, did it all the time when out and about, saved having to keep bottles at right temp. it works fine with a good swill and shake, try it!

jack and molly do get along most of the timee, but like any siblings they ahve their moments of annoying each other, not sharing and fighting for me. molly though love her brother and is always talking about "jack jack", esp if he's out. Jack so i'm told is very concerned about his sister if i'm not about, making sure she has her dummy or blankie, a drink and a snack. He'll mothers her in my absence. Really not convinced this sibling love will continue for many years though.

Tigs, just as well you were involved in reserach project them, someone was looking out for you.

Can't believe SUGAR in MASH, why?

Ah, that answers my question - is Andrew still in Micro size? I have some from T to send you :)

Still in "micro" at the hospital, I haven't tried a Size 1 to see how it measures up. "Micro" is meant to be to 5lb, so he won't fit them for much longer, but I've bought a few packs - I have a huge stash of size 1 & 2 under the cot for when he's bigger!
