I also wanted to ask those of you who are SAHM's....do you bother with make-up and dressing nice etc. As I am going to be one 'officially' from January I am starting to wonder what I will do all day, and I am also wondering how people find the motivation to look nice when they don't have to go anywhere. I am not a vain or materialistic person so am not too worried, but I don't want to turn into a big fat, greasy haired, sweaty, smelly lazy cow (who eats 3 bags of frazzles everyday;))....dykwim

    Mel x
put simply; no :) I'm often greasy haired and a bit smelly :rotfl:
    I'm with Ladybird on this
Oh, and re makeup, I only wear it if I'm going out on the town, or to a wedding or something. I've not bothered with any since before I was pregnant I don't think. Life is too short!
plus I can't do make up so I'd definitely look worse if I did my own!:o

I did manage to keep up regular showers, hair styling and de-fuzzing etc. from when Chris was roughly 8 months old and hope to get back to that in the new year when Ed will be a similar age but while pg and looking after lil baby the rest of the worl just has to take me as I come. I'm fully aware some people are totally different to me and think it's wrong or whatever but to me my baby comes before everything 99% of the time until they're old enough to keep themselves entertained/nap for a decent amount of time :)

    Totally agree, Sami! :D

I've had a lovely afternoon :D We're seeing each other next week too. I told my friend I'd been saying to OH I wish we saw them more, and it turns out my friend had been saying to her DH that she wished she saw us more, but she thought I wouldn't want to because we have appointments and I have friends "my own age" (I'm 25, she's 40, but makes no odds to me!), but we've been honest now and are probably going to see each other nearly every week :D :j

Rhys is crashed out on Daddy now. Been playing all afternoon so he's shattered!

Yeah there are options like that but I know he wont take any notice, this is the bloke who has been on a driving ban and been to prison for driving offences yet still drives around
His best friend is my neighbour too so I just feel like I'll never be free if I stay in this house, dont get me wrong I dont feel like he's gonna come and kill me but he just wont leave me alone to get on with my life.

Nope, got some rent arrears, so unless I pay them off, I'm stuck here.

Ladyb, I was looking through your FB pics. You have some lovely ones of your Granny with Izzy :grouphug:

Krystal - thanks for quoting Sami's Football Friend post I wouldn't have seen it otherwise!

Not got time to catch up hope everyone's OK but can see AM needs a hug and a proper bed! R.mac - looks like you need a hug as well xx

Well, Jack and I went to Tiny Stars today - he was being a little sh1te on the way there so I Stopped him MFD stylee  Britney Spears on FULL BLAST!

Then we took advantage of the Schweppes Free Monday Swim offer at the Thistle Hotel. Jack was a bit scared, I think I went in too quickly so I took him out had a cuddle then we went in very slowly and HE LOVED IT!!!! Only stayed for 15mins, then he had his first shower :rotfl:

Sami - I will be going into work next Friday (11th) for Christmas Lunch so if you want to meet me there you can have the bumper off me. (Can't remember whether sling meet is before or after that :o)

Right, off to make bottles and sort tea out - I'm starving even though I just had a Happy Meal :silenced: but that was the only thing I've had since the big slice of chocolate cake I had for breakfast at 10am :rotfl:
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
