Maz, my mum rang that swine flu hotline and after answering the questions she was told that she was critically ill and should call an ambulance immediately! She didn't of course and when she spoke to her GP he said it was normal flu.
If I was pregnant now (which i'm not you nosey lot) I wouldnt have the vaccination. It all sounds a bit of a rush job to me and i'd rather risk the small possibility of getting swine flu versus introducing something into my body that I dont feel has been adequately tested on pregnant women and foetuses.Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -
Hi all, just read last few pages, sorry i've missed a lot, but my curiosity has got the better of me, so need to ask, who is Andrew?? A newborn or a ill baby? Tigs his mummy? Anyway seeing as Andrew is obv coming home or home, that's good news in itself for any parent. Just wondered what the circs were.
Got my two in bed early this eve, Jack is reading in bed and Molly is singing over the monitor. Have told JAck 10 mins then lights out. Actually its been more than that now, best go see if he's still reading or fallen asleep.
back soon0 -

right back, he's settled down now and told me to turn off his reading light as "it costs money". MSE child in the making.
I still feel absolutely crap, DH not home till 10pm and my eyes keep smarting, my nose is tickling and driving me nuts and between me and the children we are living in snot city. I actually run out of tissues today and have been using muslins as hankies. This has been building for over a week and we've all felt worse today, so maybe tomorrow or by the weekend, we'll be feelin better. I'm away with my mum this weekend so i'd better be well enough to appreciate it.
What's everyone else up to, bedtime routines, dinner, not a lot?0 -

i was going to sort out my hampers but as i have nothing to do today due to doing it all today i have the whoooole day to planx

Thanks SM, wow, that's an achievement. One of my friends had her little boy at 28 weeks, he's fine, a lively 3.5yr old and now she's pregnant with her 2nd, left it a while as it was quite traumatic for her. She's gone over 28w since sunday, so now she's in unknown territory.
I was born at 26w weighing 2.5lbs, dropped to 1.5lbs and parents said i died 7 times, but eventually came home 2 days after my due date. With my bro her waters broke at 5ms, she had to lie on her back for 2ms to prevent him coming and he was 6w early in the end. Docs would now say she either has an incompetent cervix or it was excessive smoking. The dangers weren't known about in the 70's, they even provided ash trays in the hospitals!!!! So mum was resting on her back, having anti baby drugs in her backside and smoking 30 a day, whilst looking at home shopping catalgoues.0 -
