  • Never mind sami, its always good to keep the routine a little flexible, so they can cope with change.

Poooh Edgar! What [STRIKE]has he[/STRIKE] have you been eating Sami?
    :rotfl:At your dad painting footprints!

Maz I haven't heard of anyone phoning the helpline with flu symptoms, not being told its swine flu! I think they're scared to say 'oh, its just a cold', in case it is swine flu and they get a telling off!

My auntie works for NHS direct - she's a proper nurse who you never get to speak to because the call centre operators get rid of most of the calls first by going through their question scripts. She reckons out of all of the confirmed cases of swine flu now, 90% were probably just a cold (or man flu which is obviously worse)!

    Happy Birthday Mr Mel. :D
:mad:To the student finance! Is it just a local problem or UK-wide? I head people ranting about it on the radio a few days ago - it sounds like a right mess.

Elle - they're lovely rings! Your Grandad will be happy now! :D

I'm off to get my big two to bed, then find the grabbit board for these Argos offers.

re flu jab - I've been told that it's only for over 65's, pregnant women or those over 6 months who also HAVE a chronic disease/underlying condition not just people who are pregnant.
HOWEVER, the nurse HADN'T been on the training yet so wasn't 100% sure.

I can find out if anyone wants to know :)

Jack is still sparko on daddy's beanbag - poor mite! That's what happens when he stays awake ALL day! He's missed a feed as well so will be starving when he wakes up! Hang on, the mouths going in his sleep :rotfl:

Just cleared the cot and the sheets are in the tumble dryer so he's in the cot tonight - am hoping he sleeps longer because I reckon he wakes himself up by hitting the sides of teh Moses Basket in his sleep!

Question - do you tuck the blankets under him or into side of cot or just leave loose? He tends to kick them off but in MB I tend to just lay them over him without tucking.

Dinner on - chicken tikka tonight! Bet Jack wakes up when it's ready

Carla - my OH always moans about me being on here but he's always on eBay or doing weights so I tell him to sod off! ;):p
He laughs at my 'internet friends' but I say well I have mobile numbers and I've met them in RL so ner! :p

    Happy Birthday Mr Mel

Sami - Jack does dead smelly trumps - think it could be the Aptamil as he's only pooing every couple of days. You can always tell when a poop is on teh way :rotfl:
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?
