    *Puts Weezl hat on*

I just made 8 large portions of lasagne, 5 to be frozen.

Got a chicken, bacon, stuffing and red onion pie simmering on the hob for tomorrows tea, and the leftovers will do OH's lunch the next day.

The filling for the pie was nicked from my mums leftover roast dinner. Cost me nothing more than a can of chicken soup and a bit of puff pastry.

The lasagne is a massive glass dish, your supposed to use about 2 packs of mince to make it, but I used 400g as when I get big packs of mince they get halved.

I just added oats and pepper/onion/tomato.

Plus I had enough leftover from the base to freeze for when we have spag bol one night.

Now that's thrifty, about 10meals from 1 pack of mince lawwwwl

    Ahhh right.
See I am cruel, mine are only allowed to watch dvd's in bed at the weekend or on school holidays.

They are on the PS3 at the moment, until Kai goes to bed at between 7-730, depending how tired he is, how long he takes to drink his bottle etc...
Then ds2 normally goes at 7.30 and ds1 at 8pm, but tonight I have promised to get baby into bed at 7pm so me and ds2 can play a board game he bought with his birthday money at the weekend:)

I don't use a recipe lol. I just use leftover chicken, never breast as its too expensive to use for that and I don't think it tastes as good.

I bung chicken in with whatever is lying around, peppers normally, cook it for a bit, then add a can of condensed soup, or make it from scratch, which is just a white sauce with some chicken stock.

Stick the mix in a pie dish, slap some ready made puff pastry on the top and slam it in the oven.
