Wow, I thought the preg thread moved fast! Ive no chance of ever keeping up on here :o

Gisi - I think that carrier would be ok for a boy. Its lovely! And at the end of the day your the one who has to wear it, Henry will be looking handsome inside it :D

Weezl - hope the pregnancies going well and your not too worn out with Fergus too.

I havent read more than this page sorry, but Aldi's irish creams lovely  They do a normal one and a special one, its worth the extra £1.50 (IIRC) for the special one!

Why hadnt I thought of sudocrem for my stitches?! I only had 4, but theirs one and a graze that are quite tender still.

Isla's doing great, we had our first trip out in the sling today just me and her and everyone stopped to ask about it. Her little pink pixie hat poking out the top seemed to catch everyones eye :rotfl: We only went to boots and asda as I needed to swap nappies, huggies dont agree with her at all

    Hope everyones well x

I greet him with spreadsheets sometimes all proudly in the manner of a child very pleased with a poo offering. He reacts similarly to said poo encountering parent ;):D.
:rotfl: Mine is happy because as long as he records all the data, I do all his business accounts (plus assosciated spreadsheets) for him. I just show him the pretty graphs. (Although he does sometimes complain about the amount of data recording we do.)

Urgh, I feel icky :( Have got a migrane.. but the boy still needs feeding hence getting up to express :( Had one when I was pregnant that made me sick but as soon as I was sick I felt fine... wish I could just be sick this time and get it over with! :( (can't make myself, that's just too icky for words! _pale_)

Apologies to anyone eating their tea right now.. :o

(Although once when Alice was wearing 95% pink someone thought she was a boy so maybe there's no point in worrying what people will think.)

Someone gave us one of those but said if we didn't like it they could exchange it for something else. Alice cried when we tried it because she didn't like lying down so we swapped it for a baby bouncer which she loved once she was big enough.

 Do they have alternatives for people who can't take ibuprophen? *Makes mental note never to give birth in Germany*

Molly likes the bouncer but only for five or so minutes and then she wants to be entertained by a real person. I wonder what the milestones are for entertaining themselves - she can manage it but doesn't enjoy it so much. And she's super clingy since Husband's in the hospital - doesn't like going to him for too long now either :(

People are always confusing Molly for a boy - and she's normally in pink or a dress :rotfl:

I've no idea what they give people who can't manage ibu - probably a double dose of chamomile tea. Although one night when I was crying with pain the nurse did wander in and administer a surprise suppository  I thought she wanted to see my bottom to give me an injection!

Edit: Weezl, they do routinely cannulate, but only shave for a section (using a nasty Bic and disinfectant soap ) - but they also routinely offer enemas in case you feel you might poop on the doctor. I suggested they shove their enemas up their ... never mind :rotfl:

:grouphug: elle - feel better :)

GISI - that mei tai is lovely! IME some people are just stupid and can't tell girls from boys even if they're wearing a sign saying i'm a boy :p
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

:rotfl: to the first bit and  to the second. Do you think that would be normal practice or that they just assumed you wouldn't understand if they tried to tell you what they were going to do?

I think suppositories are just much more common in Germany and so people don't object to them. I know Husband was offered them as pain relief - he opted for IM injections instead :rotfl:
