Glam and SM, I was wondering that about Feelie. I hope she's ok. I sent her a FB message and am wondering if I shouldn't have.

Sometimes I've felt a bit ignored if I've posted something and nobody's responded, but the thread moves so quickly that things get missed. I also tend to feel it a bit that I'm nowhere near any other posters and can't join the meetup talk or the TV talk - but I make up for it by rambling on in my own little way. I hope my over-talking doesn't offend people either :)

3, what a horrible thing to happen. Gentle hugs all round.

It looks like Husband will be home this afternoon! Molly's asleep at the moment so I'm putting my application pack together (still haven't written a research proposal but it asks for a brief one so hopefully I can get away with 2-3 pages) and when he comes home he'll take the monster and I can write the proposal. I won't be on over the weekend because we have RL friends coming from London so would like an update Sunday evening please if someone wouldn't mind?

Again, NMS, I'm so sorry you've felt ignored. I really wish there was something I could do to fix it - please let me know if there is.

I've decided that instead of taking the time to catch up on here and taking an interest in how everyone is getting on, only to be more or less ignored, I am going to dedicate this time to my little boy, in seeing him grow and learn in such an amazing way :smileyhea

Nor am I going to put in the time, effort and cost to send items to help/for you to enjoy and not receive even a thankyou!:confused:
As I'm not on your list I guess I must be one of the ones who ignored you?

Personally I find that this thread moves to fast to be able to read and reply to everything. Sometimes I have time, sometimes I don't.

Just because I don't comment on every little thing someone posts about doesn't mean I don't care. So for example I haven't said anything to Caz about what is going on with her partly because I missed it through losing internet access and partly because I don't know what to say. I also didn't really say anything to Sugarspun about her husband being in hospital (which I also partly missed through lack of internet access) until yesterday when she said he might be out today and I did a quick jumping up and down smily because I hadn't ever commented on it before and didn't want her to think I didn't care but didn't have the time to write a load of stuff.

These days I often don't read all the pages as I don't have time so I just search the thread for "susan" in case anyone has specifically addressed me and read however much I have got time for. This means I can easily miss things.

I have to confess that I do tend not to reply so much to new people unless they are having particular problems which I feel I can give a useful reply to. Partly this is because I don't really "know" new people yet (and usually there are lots of people who do know them fromt he pregnancy thread) and partly because lots of new people come and then disappear really quickly so it is hard to keep track.

As far as sending things to people is concerned, that is soemthing to address with the individuals you have sent things to.

I'm sorry if I have offended you in any way but really you should have said you were feeling left out sooner rather than just storming off in a huff. It is perfectly valid and reasonable for you to choose to spend time with your son instead of on here but don't blame the people here without giving them a chance.
Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.

    Morning all! :)

NMS, *big hugs* :( I don't think I've ever been able to help you (come to think of it, I'm not sure I actually help anyone else with advice either!) but I've always enjoyed hearing how Liam is doing. Thankyou for your good wishes for Rhys :) Please pop in every now and again (or better still, don't go at all) xx

SM, sorry I disappeared last night.. Rhys needed changing and was getting him settled in bed :)

Happy birthday to Josh! :D Is your house ready for a teenage invasion, Becles?!

3, *hugs* (the virtual, non-bug catching type!) to you all :(

Krystal, thank god for the monitor they had! Nice to see the LO's sleeping on his back now too though.

SS, what's the latest on hubby? Did you get a good night sleep?

I have vague recollections of OH getting out of bed, walking round to my side, shoving me into the middle and lying on my bit to peer into the crib in the middle of the night, but I don't remember Rhys crying so not sure what that was about! :o Rhys is fine this morning, good BF earlier and he's back off to sleep now.

My friend who runs the musical workshops is coming round later this morning :) Then once OH gets home, I'm off shopping - can drive in my sunglasses, just can't drive in sunglasses at night! Really must find my glasses.. hope they're not a mangled mess when I do find them! :(

NMS I'm not on your list and I really hope that doesn't mean I've contributed to your feeling alone or left out. I've always kind of enjoyed that we had our little ones so close together and look/ed forward to reading your posts. Please don't go?I hope you enjoy the time with your son xxx

NMS- I'm not on your list either.....
what NMS said really got to me .......... i really hope nobody else feels like this if you do please speak i class you all my friends and i would like to think you're upset x

I'm going to be brutally honest now and probably a bit heavy for this time of the morning... so dont hate me... This thread does move at an exceptionally fast speed. It can take me ages to catch up which is why I only subscribe to this one and not the pregnancy one aswell so I sometimes miss posts and forget to thank people. I dont even manage to your posts on FB either , but I do work full time at the moment.

I often feel that I post things and they are 'ignored' / not commented on because other people have things going on in their lives.... It does get to me sometimes, especially that alot of you are closer to each other and can meet which probably doesnt help either...All I would say to NMS and any others that are feeling 'left out' is that I think everyone that contributes to this thread is treasured and wanted. We all have worthwhile opinions and are entitled to them even if someone else has a different one or we dont get 'thanked'.

Right said my piece so off to actually do some work... only 6 days left before ML starts....
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.

I'm becoming a bit of a serial lurker in here :o (when i'm avoiding housework = most of the time :rotfl:) and just wanted to say i hope NMS is okay. When i first joined the preggy thread i felt ignored loads, and sometimes it does get to you when you feel like people only reply to certain others, it can all be a bit cliquey. But i think that's inevitable on any forum or group, and i bet it's a bit worse on here if people are meeting up etc.

Hopefully it just feels amplified through tiredness or something, i get wound up about internet stuff if i'm already stressed :o

No sleep - but Husband's likely to be home today so the order of business is as follows:

    -put clean washing in dryer
    -put nappies in washing machine
-take out all the rubbish before he gets home and starts trying to rescue bits of it "just in case"
-take Molly out for a walk to tire her out a bit
    -welcome Husband home
-write my research proposal in peace and quiet once he's here
    -fuss over him appropriately
-take a bath and have a snooze

Hurrah! But first, changing Molly again - she just leaned off the boob, did a noisy horrible poop and said, Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahh. Still it adds a nappy to the wash.

    How's Rhys? I hope he's feeling better.

Nearly! Got one more (fiddly!) strip to put up in my bedroom on the 'feature' wall in my bedroom but all the painting in there is done o i am gonna measure up and order the carpet today :T Just found the wallpaper i'm using online but it looks awful on the pic lol, much better (and lighter background) in RL and is only on one wall! It's glittery too :o

Only got 15 days til my due date but so much to do, can't help but worry it's going to feel a bit strange coming home with baby after i've spent so much time worrying about being ready on time? It's like this huge countdown and then i'm gonna come home and it'll all be over with (well, just the beginning but hopefully that makes some sense!)
