My little boy didn't ask for "boobie" this morning - very strange. I guess that means he is growing out of it or as I am beginning to suspect my milk is drying up.
- Quick qu. for Krystal are there any particular signs that your milk is drying up? My nipples have started bleeding again due to frequency of feeding and I am wondering if this might be why he has been wanting to feed for so long. He does have other drinks offered but up until now has chosen boobie milk over anything else.
Annecdotally, Aimee dropped her feeds really slowly over a course of months until there was no milk left at all... It felt like a really natural progression for us, and I wasn't sad when it ended...:)A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Well, Jack slept til 7am, was trying to suck his fist but scratch mitt was in the way so I pulled it off and he slept another hour. I could get used to this!
He's only had half a bottle and has fallen back to sleep so I'm gonna pop him down and then go and get on with the rest of the housework.
I might not be on much over the weekend cos IL's are here.
Oh and thanks for the labour vibes - they definitely worked cos I had a text at 12.30am to say her waters had gone :j weirdly they went at exactly the same time as mine! Not heard anything since but hoping I'm an auntie soon!
SS - hope hubby can come home today
Bruno - you are an interesting poster!
Keely - 4 teeth! At least you'll only have only one lot of grumbles rather than 4 individual ones!
I must admit that sometimes I don't reply to posts for the following reasons
a.) I don't 'know' that particular poster very well so don't feel comfortable in posting a reply as I don't know if it will upset them
b.) If it's something I don't like or agree with. For example, I didn't agree with Krystal over the Formula voucher thing but didn't want to start a debate so I just didn't say anthing. I am so NOT like this is in RL though!
c.) I don't know what they are asking - eg. Breast feeding questions, diagnosis etc.
d.) I genuinely forget!
I remember someone on the pg thread getting upset cos no-one replied to her so I started making a conscious effort to reply to everyone - hence my huge postcount! Unfortunately I don't have the time now and to be honest sometimes I just CBA to!
I am worried about Feelie and wonder if OH has asked her not to post on here anymoreI know it's a bit of a strange thing to say but I can't see why she would cut us all out like this!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -

NMS I hope I haven't offended/ignored you? I think we all feel like that at times, but this thread moves so fast, it's easy for posts to be missed.
I hope you managed another hours sleep and things feel a little better. ((Hugs))
Happy birthday to Katie.
Keely - hope the councelling helps your Mum.
Feelie - If you're lurking, (hugs), hope you and the gorgeous Toby are ok.
My news........ Baby girl was sick again at tea time yesterday.
DD1 came home from school looking a bit pale, then ran to the toilet and was very, very sick. (And a few more times before sleeping).
DS1 went up to bed and was sick within about half an hour - all over his bed. And again a few times til finally settling about midnight.
OH woke up this morning - and seems to have it too, unless he's developed morning sickness!
