Eek, just visiting from the hotel room while OH sleeps before breakfast, NMS I am not a very consistent or interesting poster here but I try to keep up completely with posts and you are an wise and fun lady who I thought had some good things to say and some friends on the board! And I like to hear about Liam's progress
Hope you get some more sleep this morning!0 -
I'm not on NMS list either. I feel ignored and left out now
Not sure why you feel that way NMS. Somedays I post things and feel ignored, or I feel I can't join in as it's all tiny baby talk and I haven't got one, but other days like yesterday I really valued the support I was given when I was upset.
I guess it's like if we all met in a pub. If everyone started talking about X-Factor, I'd just sit there quiet as I never watch it, but would join in again when the conversation turned to something I know about. It's just the way conversations work.
Hope you are ok xx
I'm officially the mother of a teenager today! Josh is 13 and he's invited some boys from school round for tea. I have to collect them from school so I'll have a houseful later. Here I go again on my own....0 -
Hi Weezlie
It might be discharge day today, he won't know till after the ultrasound.
Hope you're enjoying yourselves Bruno - what have you done with the small one?
Becles I'm the same way - sometimes I happen upon a conversation about Gavin and Stacey or the X Factor and can't join in. Happy birthday to Josh!Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

I guess we all feel a bit ignored at times NMS. Hope you enjoyed your extra hrs sleep.
My little boy didn't ask for "boobie" this morning - very strange. I guess that means he is growing out of it or as I am beginning to suspect my milk is drying up.
- Quick qu. for Krystal are there any particular signs that your milk is drying up? My nipples have started bleeding again due to frequency of feeding and I am wondering if this might be why he has been wanting to feed for so long. He does have other drinks offered but up until now has chosen boobie milk over anything else.ladybirdintheuk wrote: »Oh another question - do cuddly toys go in the washing machine? We're off to rhyme time in a mo. Will sing extra loud for you all
I always wash Archies as I hate the idea of the alternative - I usually wash on the wool cycle and tumble on cool to dry quickly. I also use a colour care washing liquid to try and keep colours bright and I generally have good results.Krystaltips wrote: »You share a birthday with my Hubby
Our decs go up on the 12th/13th... Hubby's Mum used to put the decs up on his birthday as a child and he wants to be as far removed from anything to do with her so we leave it till a few days later lol... up 12 days before... down 12 days later....
I always put my decs up xmas eve and keep them up till 6th jan (twelth night). I like to do that as it makes xmas day sort of special and also as I start to hate the tree getting in the way if its around for too long.I'm not on NMS list either. I feel ignored and left out now

I've decided that instead of taking the time to catch up on here and taking an interest in how everyone is getting on, only to be more or less ignored, I am going to dedicate this time to my little boy, in seeing him grow and learn in such an amazing way :smileyhea
Nor am I going to put in the time, effort and cost to send items to help/for you to enjoy and not receive even a thankyou!
I know what you mean about spending more time with Liam - I sometimes think i post too much & should be enjoying my time with Jack while i'm on mat leave.
I'm trying to remember i I thanked you for the vouchers and I'm sure I did because I mentioned about you not posting anymore. I'm sure that whoever hasnt thanked you is either busy with LO or has forgotten.
If it was me then I apologise and THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
If you want to PM me your number, I will text you about the next TC meet as it was lovely to meet you and Liam on Tuesday and I'll like to do it again in the New Year like we planned.
You take care and don't forget if you need us for anything we are here.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -

That worries me!
I'm ok, just dealing with Elliot cutting four teeth at once!! I took him for his 13 month jabs yesterday (was a bit over due but nevermind)-as soon as he saw the gp he screamed his head off!I think his memory is too good lol. He wasn't too impressed by it all, proper tears and sobbing! He has been sleeping ok at night, but is being really awkward with his morning nap.
My mom has been sent to see a councilor and is now on antidepressants, 6 months on she's still struggling with the loss of her mom. I can't beleive it's been 6 months, it's scary how time flies but at the same time it still feels like only last week that we visited her in hospital
I haven't been on here much because I'm not dealing with stress at home too well and have been sucked into farmville etc to take my mind off it
Well, I hope everyone is ok todayI'll keep lurking!
