    morning all...
been shopping online this morning for xmas presents.
Got Kian's all sorted. He's having 2 presents from mummu and daddy and 2 from Santa.
hoping to het him a 'santa stocking' with his name on too.
bought my sisters and brothers girlfriend presents as well.

gave my mum her 'kian' necklace and she said not to buy anythong else but i want to. any ideas. want a present for her not anything to do with Kian (no personalised baby things...) and Kian needs to buy her something as well.

can i just ask if anyone else buys present for grandparents/aunties/uncles from little ones??

Jillie I've got a lovely personalised santa sack from mamas n papas for Chris and I've just ordered a matching one for Edgar they are very nice and I'm pretty sure they do a matching stocking :)

We only give 'big' presents to our parents and we go halves with my sister and BIL on each of them usually then everyone else gets a small gift that is kids related so last year we got everyone a photo bauble and the year before was a photo calendar. I think we're gonna do calendars again this year as we've lots of good photos of Edgar (obviously) but I'm tempted by photo shopping bags..

Where are you getting your calendars from Sami. I think I need to do a couple.

I also went to one of those plate painting places and made 2 mugs with Leila's footprints on them. I have done 2 photo mugs too with the 99p Cadbury biscuit thing.

ps lovely sami:A, you seem to know your way around MSE really well, do you remember seeing where the info is about the trust that martin set up to fund various initiatives aimed at combatting debt? I vaguely remember you could write to them suggesting a business plan, but can't find any reference to it now!:D

    Morning all..

Rhys and I got up at 10am :o OH got up in plenty of time and took himself to court (they got the charging order but no further action as long as he continues to pay *sigh*). Rhys slept 2.30am to 5.30am then 6am to 9.30am :D

We got up, bottles and expressing all round, then I laid him on his change mat and set out his clothes - really nice dungarees that I've been waiting ages for him to be big enough for, wanted him to wear them today as we're going out into town as a family (first time!) etc etc... and what did he do, the second I took his nappy off?! Allllll over the change mat, the clothes and beyond onto the carpet!   :(

Was supposed to be meeting my Grandad at Wickes at 11am cos I had a discount voucher in my name that he was going to use, so got Rhys dressed, filled another nappy, got him changed again, got him into his car seat, ready to go.. Then OH got back! Thought he was going to be hours. So gave OH the instruction for the hospital visit this morning and let him take over that, came back into the living room to kiss Rhys goodbye, at which point he filled his nappy yet again! Obviously, good mummy that I am.. I left OH in charge and scarpered! :D:p

I'm now back from Wickes, Grandad happy (also cried in the middle of Wickes when I told him the results of the MRI ), Daddy and Rhys still at the hospital. Just time for a cuppa and some tidying, then once OH gets back, we can go out for lunch and ring shopping :D (Grandad's eyes lit up when I mentioned ring shopping too! ;))

Hope everyone else is well :) Sorry, will read back properly later :o

Maz what about a nice snuggly dressing gown? if you a kids one age 16 is around a size 8 usually (I did wonder if she'd be tiny as thai peeps are usually diddy)

do you not have a thermometer to take Henry's temp?my docs ask you to phone them not just turn up if you think its swine flu

Yes have a thermometer... had to use the under arm technique as Henry wants to bite it if I put it in his mouth. Temp is 37.8 but only his body is warm ie not head, legs or arms..definately more lively than before as well...
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.

£22k loan he took out about five years ago and signed up to pay £330ish a month and then lost his higher paid job and can now only afford to pay £280ish so they took him to court (could afford less when all this started but having paid a few other things off, he can now afford £280ish which they accept). It's Natwest - we think because they're gov owned now, they've got to be seen to be getting all their money back asap. It's on a DMP with CCCS (thanks to MSE!). Got a CCJ about a year ago and now the confirmed charging order so it'll be paid out of the house sale if we sell it before he pays it off in instalments which will take about five years. It wasn't massively recklessly lending, just a bad sequence of events where he lost what was supposed to be a secure job and had to take a lower paid one. I've got him on the MSE straight and narrow now.. ;)
