Was in Spar, buying a sweet for myself and this woman comes in with her 4/5yo (Im sure it was the kid I seen at Keiras nursery when I went for the induction) and it was hollering on because the mother had to go to the post office at the back first and she was wanting sweets. Now this kid is fat, not chubby or puppy fat, mega fat, Obese even, it doesn't walk straight, I feel so bad for this kid because it's obviously the mothers fault and at the till the kid had (and was already tucking into!)

A slice of chocolate cake
A packet of chewits
Can of coke
2 packets of wotsits


NOW JUST WHY? The mother herself is quite large, but still no need to feed your kid utter rubbish. Its child abuse!

awwww, poor oh, that sounds stressful, but also yay:T that you've sorted him out on the mse route to enlightenment;) and it all sounds fixable.

It was a girl and IMO fat girls look worse, gives them squashed features.

I sound like a right d!ck judging children but I was like that as a kid cause my mum fed me pap, It turns my stomach thinking of the abuse that kid is going to get, and it will, this is a crap area, bullying is the norm.

Sami, I ordered our Chicco Polly highchair last night Went for the Cube design from Kiddicare in the end - gave OH the choice of colour since I'd picked the highchair itself! It was £79.99 so same price as the Tesco one would have been after using my voucher, plus I've still got the voucher to use. Going to get the bath seat I think.. just browsing for something else for £10ish..
