Have you tried a sleeping bag or a fleecy sleepsuit?
He does have a sleeping bag, and it is quite a high tog one....but his hands get cold and I just think he wakes more (or at least wakes me more) when his room is colder.

It was 16 degrees in his room overnight, which is supposed to be within the realms of a normal 'safe' temperature...but it felt freezing when I went in to get him :(

He seems to get all sweaty in the fleecy sleepsuits so we stopped using them.

MM - sounds like a nightmare! Get your best complaint writing head on...but start saving too...just in case :(

we had this problem and so I abandoned the sleeping bags and bought a fleece sleepsuit from next at £8. Its very pretty - white with large pink polka dots, but they do 'boys' ones too ;)

it keeps her arms warm and she's sung and cosy in it - we use a vest (a long sleeved one on very cold nights) then babygrow then sleepsuit.

:rotfl:I've just seen it for the first time too - she's SO annoying! It 's the stupid hair flick and smile at the end.

Vie didn't want to eat any toast, but keeps drinking water. I wonder should we get some Dioralyte? Or can she survive on water for a while?

Poor V. sending you both hugs. If she'll take water that's great. the GP recommended using some dilute ribena when LO was ill - sugar helps the gut absorb wate more easily ;)

LO's nappy rash is still horribly painful so she's running around nappyless - cue lots of puddles!!!!!:rotfl::o

We are on the wooden floored part of the house though ;)

((HUGS )) Hypno sorry you are having a hard time feeding.

Kai has finally fallen asleep but it is picking up time! Good job dh is here to do it......

I have yet to go through the figures thoroughly but it looks like it may be managable for me to stay home once I leave Uni:D It is only all your kind words that have helped kick my butt into gear! Thank You.

Hey all, i haven't had a chance to catch up, i'm really sorry, we're having a horrible couple of days. I wanted some help and some advice and damn good hug really because Austins feeding is getting worse and worse....
    <SNIP>
I dont know what to do....sorry that was such a long post but i just need to get this out....there's no joy in feeding anymore, i dread every feed....

It sounds very much like it could be thrush Hypno. We've just got it again, bloody horrid stuff really painful.

Things to look out for, white stuff in his mouth, windiness, fussiness, pulling off at the feed as if in pain. In you, sore nipples, may be red or pink, deep down pain in your breast, itchiness, flaky skin (both on your nipples), white patches, pain on letdown (it felt like she was kneeing me really hard on the other wide), pain after a feed (it felt really hot for me, but there was no mastitis patches), pain after previously trouble free feeding. Having antibiotics (either mother or baby) makes you more suseptible.

You might get some or all of those symptoms, you might even have none but if you suspect thrush you need to see your doctor. He can prescribe a gel for munchkin and a cream for you. I also recommend lots of probiotic stuff. (to eat for you) :-)

I'm randomly on and off atm but if you need me pm me, I've had thrush a LOT with munchkin and I'm training to be a bfing peer counsellor atm so it's my specialist subject!

not stupid at all - I find that sometimes it is the simplest of things I am asking about on here - and get the simplest of solutions that way!!!

Now - talk to me again about nappy rash creams. sudacreme not enough ATM, bepathen doesn't do anything for us. What's the fishy one again and is there another one beginning with M?

nappy free time seems to have helped a little. she's stopped crying at least!
