oooo elle im all set for wednesday ... i got £30 for boots and a 20% voucher for ELC (which i dont mind sharing ;)) and alittle xmas pennies incase i see alittle something cheap for philip (which i may ask alittle help with) x
    :)Still searching .....:)
  • Elle, do you have the number for your local sure start? If you give them a call and ask them to send you out a timetable of activities then you'll have an idea of when to pop down...

I go to a newborn group at my local one, it can be a bit cliquey sometimes, like people only talk to the person they came with... But other times really chatty and nice... Depends who's there... But I persevere and go on my own every week because the woman that runs it has the inside knowledge on all the things that are happening and the free courses they're doing...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Thankyou :) We've got a hospital appointment on Monday afternoon so I think I'll call them (must be a phone number somewhere for them) in the morning and suggest I call in after the hospital appointment to collect a timetable - and have a nosey! ;)

I never got around to reading any books :o about anything! I went to a seminar about BLW with Lorna and watched a video!

    Books = paranoia IMHO :o

Aw - hope Caitlyn (spelled correctly this time!) is okay after her tumble. I felt like I was handing a battered child over to the CM on Monday morning - I took a note with a list of the 'injuries' he had acquired over the weekend :o

I am pleased to report that Benjamin is now a master of sitting back down as well as standing up now though! Before he stood for as long as he could (he could do an hour if you let him!!) and if you hadn't moved him he would just topple!!
He's getting so grown up now :) He reminds me of Aimee the way he's rushing through all the milestones lol

I've seen the DVD you're on about, have met a couple of the women in it too lol... And I understand all the basic <insert word I can't think of here> of it all... I just wanted to read the book too lol... I like to read back grounds and information on stuff then follow my own path with it all...

And she's very well recovered, thank you :) It didn't even leave a mark... Once they start moving around that's it, they're covered in bruises and scratches... I ever tell you about the time Aimee broke her arm? :o

Eta: The word is concepts/principles... My brain is withering and dying...:o

We were expecting a bruise on Rhys earlier.. He sneezed so hard twice while in his Jumperoo than he smacked his head on the edge of the seat ring bit :o No lasting marks though.. phew!

OH is working overtime tomorrow, 6 - 12 I think he's doing, but after 5 hours it goes to double time. So we should have an extra £200 from that on the pay before Xmas (he gets paid on 25th of each month but I'm thinking it will be before that lol) plus his work normally give them all a £250 Xmas bonus.

I'm thinking I should be sensible and put it away in a savings account, but alas I do not have one. Ah well, means we can have a good time at New Year (though we won't spend more than £50, I'm tight!)

I feel quite sick, I took a beef joint out the freezer to defrost for tea but it still hasn't defrosted, so had a baked spud with tuna, but I found about a bazillion cat hairs in it, so I'm thinkin the cat went and licked my tuna when I wasn't in the kitchen.....GROSSSSSSS. Feel thoroughly ill now just thinking about what I've probably just eaten.

LOL - you beat me to it with concept!!

I don't want to hear about any babies being hurt :o tears are never too far from the surface.

Benjamin can do so much and is very much in control of his own body...but today he decided he wanted to be an arkward b00ger whilst I was putting him in his buggy (he was doing all floppy, heavy limbed, non-co-operativeness ) and he nearly ended up on the concrete floor of the car park  Terrified the life out of me :o

Hubby is asleep on the sofa. I know he will get a crick in his neck and be grumpy about it....but I also know that I have no chance of getting him to bed yet!! Men!!!
