evening all
christmas - we are going to my parents on christmas eve and christmas day and then on to in laws forboxing day and then home the day after that. Phew! My parents are very chilled out about it, but In laws are not. I have already told everyone that next year it will be at our house, but that i am not cooking for a billion people so one set of grandparents can come on christmas eve and the other on boxing day. My in laws complained that I didn't suggest an expensive enough christmas present for LO! it's lovely that they want to shower her in gifts but she is only 9 1/2 months old and they aren't rolling in cash and I don't want to feel responsible for their debts. Arghhhhh.
cycles - I have no idea when I ovulate - I only calculated it one month - the one when I fell pg! My periods returned at approx the 6-7 month mark.
DH working late, the new job is going well and he's so motivated. it's really great to see. I'm missing his help at bathtime, but it also means that once LO is in bed I can (sometimes) get 20 mins to myself before he comes in the door. Tonight I am off out to ice a friends christening cake. I've made a sugarpaste Peter Rabbit for her and going to show her how to pipe icing, although I'm not sure if she's yet decided on the text.......r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -

Hi Everyone,
I've only read the last page so hugs and congratulations where needed.
Christmas - is at home with a quick visit to big bro to see him, cousins and grandparents, we will also go to the morning service at Church, Christmas Dinner is at home - we get together as a family between Christmas and New Year. We visit all DH's family before Christmas.
Cycle - DD was 14 months old when mine returned, I don't know the meaning of regular I have PCOS which mucks it all up.
News - DD is going to be in our Church's Nativity, the pre-school group are being stars and singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and despite being 6 months to young they've included DD as I help out with the group - I'm no good with costumes so I'm getting her this, especially as she has outgrown her existing dress.Proud to be dealing with my debts

:hello:
Quick report on the hospital..
Kidneys - got a list of foods to limit (banana, sweet potato and BNS!), must boil and not steam everything as potassium is water soluble so boiling will get rid of more potassium, had bloods done (first time ever from inside elbow
) and they'll come up with a formula-back-up-plan just in case my supply drops (or rather to stop me feeling stressed about it so it doesn't drop!). Not gained a huge amount of weight in a week so going back up to four scoops
Brain - didn't see the consultant we were supposed to as she was called to theatre but saw one of the registrars who said there doesn't look to be a problem at all. Yes, his brain is slightly smaller than it should be and there is extra fluid in his skull to fill that space, but it's not excessive and it's not causing any problems. We've just got to keep an eye on his head circumference and as long as he follows one centile line and doesn't start crossing them, we've got nothing to worry about0
