Searchie - can we come to you for Christmas - it sounds just how Christmas should be. Can we also have hampers to match Zoe, please! :D

Sami - Thats a lovely pic. I always thought Christopher and Edgar were little mini Sami's - but theres a good bit of OH in them too now i've seen him!

I wonder if you could get the authentic German jam at one of the traditional Christmas markets? Chester has one - I smelt it today!

Sami & BM - we also open special Christmas Pyjamas on Christmas eve, so we look smart for Santa! :p

Tia - my DS was sick in school yesterday, twice. But he came home and ate my cupboards bare - so was well enough to go to school today!

Mel - i don't know how you manage three children, being pregnant and Uni - you're another of those Supermums! Is it something you could go back to when No.4 is here? Or could you do something on Open Uni?

Elle - all sounds good. :T

I got her a proper old metal spinning top today from Hawkins - she's fascinated by it! They also had the 1970's style fisher price pull along phone with googly eyes (am I the only one old enough to remember it?) - I almost bought it but I think its similar to something MIL has got her for christmas.

I have bought Benjamin one of those phones for christmas! The CM has one and he likes to lie on his belly and pull it towards himself and giggle :D

HUGS to AM. Thinking of her.

AF is on her way! Safely on the aeroplane. Hoping they get there without too many frayed nerves.

We made it a rule from the beginning of our marriage that we had Christmas at home with just us. It makes life easier.

oh and, did any of you get your period while still exclusively breastfeeding? I am now on my second one! :(
I had my first at 7 1/2 months so *techincally* we'd been weaning for two weeks but because we were doing BLW she wasn't really eating food till ten months by which time I think I'd had three. Various things can influence when they start including stress and sudden changes in feeding pattern. (Hmm just realised mine started not long after OH started on his Christmas job and I was expressing at a different time in the evening.) Some people just do seem to start early on even with exclusive breastfeeding but often the cycle is annovulatory.
Sami - how do you know your cycle is back with no bleeding? I take the odd Ovulation testing strip, but no sign of ovulation, but I don't think I ovulate every cycle either. I ovulate without bleeding, but bleed without ovulating too. Confusing!
You can track fertility symptoms such as basal body temperature (your temperature before you get up in the morning) and your cervical mucus. When you ovulate there is a temperature shift (an increase of about 0.3degrees C) so the temperature is biphasic. An annovulatory cycle is monophasic (i.e. with no temperature shift).

Do you do bought advent calendars? I've got a disney princess one :D I'm so grown up!

I have a HSM advent calendar and OH and Jack have a Transformers one - of course Jack can't have his

I would love to have a SM style christmas but it aint gonna happen. OH and I have only had Christmas alone once in 10 years. Told him this will be the last one though!

Mel - we are here for you whatever you decide to do. Must admit I do think u are amazing managing with all the stuff you have on your plate.

Glad Af got off OK and that AM is settled now.

3- agree, I hate soggy marshmallows in hot choc!

Fell like a right pig, had a massive lunch, then chicken balti, jam sponge pudding and custard and just had a bowl of ice-cream. (still feel hungry)
