Nan & Grandad used to take me there when I was little - I wondered where it was!

    To Trentham?

The monkey forest has only been open for about 4 years....but Trentham Gardens is fantastic now - they have deveoped it into a little shopping village with pine huts for shops. It's ace.
Might take the kids there this weekend actually...

It would be lovely to see you and gingerman on tues but we understand its far, how is his cold?

All I know of stoke is what that one friend told me but she did live in the red light district:p

We like monkeys here :D Will have to remind us closer to the time and we can organise something for june time before the schools break up but when it's nice weather maybe combine it with a birthday party - I'll be 25 :D

Gingerman managed much better with some Karvol on his chest last night....although I probably should have put some on mine too :(

His nan picked him up from the CM at 11.30am, keep your fingers crossed that MIL approved, otherwise I can see me getting some earache and getting into fisticuffs with her

Apparently the house next door to my parents' is up for sale. Just told OH and now I've got him from the other side of the room and mum on MSN telling me what a good idea it would be to move there! :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Yay for Monkeys!!

And so much for you not spending much time on here on your hollibobs ;)

I have just had a Gregs sausage roll (well 2 actually :o) and I can't believe how salty it was  they seem to be the snack of choice for mothers with kids in buggies so I wasn't impressed.

SM I don't think you sound harsh, Edgar gets left to cry for similar times too. I just can't see to him everytime he crys because I'd never manage to do anything for Chris

ok i think maybe im alot harder on jayden with you all saying 5-10mins its only 20mins if hes in bed and hes being fussing i let him cry hisself to sleep x
It does depend on what the child is like too - Alice didn't cry a lot so if we had as much as an hour in the whole day I would think that was a bad day. I have a friend who always talks about how her third baby hardly ever cried but I had always thought he cried a lot because I listened to him crying more through two services at church than I ever did with Alice in a whole week.

Was in every 5 mins for an hour, didn't work!!!

I was like that Sat night but he didnt wear himself out just got overtired and it took about 3hrs to get him to sleep

my baby is poorly :( his nose is running like a tap and he's a bit warm. good excuse for lots of cuddles in bed cos mummy sick too!
    Hope Rhys feels better soon

June is my birthday too and I got all excited and then remembered Igo back to work in June :(

Susan - he did get the info. There are supposed to be yellow imms cards in paper records but obviously depending on how old you are depends on how well the cards are completed. Also, some vaccines like TB are given in school so he had to get the nurse to write a letter confirming he had a TB scar.

Hopefully he can start a week Monday!

Weather awful here and really dark, makes me feel down :(

Have to get as many meet ups as possible in between now and June!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

off topic I know - anyone know anything about how to acquire a website/build a website?

MFD - don't worry about MIL's reaction to CM. I have found that although MIL think they know best that as the parents we know best ;) How is work going? Any news on the next part of the tender or did I miss that? (sorry if I have put my foot in it :( )

LO having a nap - yipeeeee. I feel much more positive today :D Even if my to do list is growing ever longer and I'm on here instead of tackling it!!!
