Nope, she fights sleep then goes off in my arms, if she's not very tired when you pick her up she smiles, tut!

sami my fairy post came .. thank you ... just about to sit and have my reeses with a glass of coke zero and look for cheap dvds for zoe ...... THANK YOU!!! x
you are more than welcome :)
I am back full time in Jan :(

Maybe she didn't want to come home ;):D

Thursday 17th December would be good?

    You MUST???

Do I owe you money? ;)

I am aiming for it. But it really depends on whether I can convince myself that it is a good idea...and if my friend is available to help break down the journey. It is a LONG way to drive up and back in one day - although I used to do it all the time PB.

LOL Stoke is not rough! Well, actually I work and used to live in Newcastle-under-Lyme which is slightly posher than Stoke!!

There is the Monkey Forest at Trentham Gardens - next summer we could have a trip to see the monkeys!!

There is also Sandbach and Feely :D or Knutsford - both little but lovely towns.
I'm sure we can manage something for 17th dec :)
It would be lovely to see you and gingerman on tues but we understand its far, how is his cold?

All I know of stoke is what that one friend told me but she did live in the red light district:p

We like monkeys here :D Will have to remind us closer to the time and we can organise something for june time before the schools break up but when it's nice weather maybe combine it with a birthday party - I'll be 25 :D

i cant wait til seth says amusing things like that. how do you keep a straight face at that time of night?!
Quite easily because usually at the time she's upset about whatever it is so I'm trying to calm her down.
I just wanted to say that I think you are all great, I'm hopefully going away today with my boys, to a refuge.

Oh I wish there was any hope of co-sleeping working! But if we try, he just gets up and begins roaming and tugging and climbing and slapping
Apparently co-sleeping works better if you do it from early on. (Just thought I'd say in case it's useful for next time.)

OH has gone to docs to get info on his immunisation history for his new job, he rang surgery and they said to pop in. Just had text

'God they are awkward, just went mad so got an appt with nurse to get the info' :rotfl:

Not like him to get mad, he usually sends me in to do that for him!
I'd be suprised if they had all of that information - mine and OH's don't have a full immunisation record in them. IIRC mine just has rubella aged 10, one of the ones I had at school (TB I think) and a couple of flu jabs from when I was a student - all the others aren't there.

gotta venture into town soon to pay my council tax! really need to sort a direct debit out for that!!
If your council is anywhere near as incompetent as mine, I'd recommend a standing order rather than a direct debit as then it is you that sets the payments ratehr than them. If you have online banking then you can set up your standing order yourself online (which is what I do because I had too many incompetent bank staff messing things up).

Question, how long would you ladies leave a baby to cry, all of a sudden she's not going down on her own and and gets in a terrible state?
At that age I don't think I ever left Alice for more than five or ten minutes. If it was obviously a distressed cry (as opposed to a "registering an objection" cry), I didn't leave her. Is it possible she could have a cold? With Alice, the first sign of a cold was always difficulties sleeping.
